Aren't (real) positive news releases normally followed by interest in the stock that increases share price... because I have missed any evidence of that pattern.
Tax liabilities can effect the timing... if the shares go to .001 cents they still do not have to be covered, therefore no tax liability
It also gave an incentive to the short sellers, its harder to push down a $3 stock than a $12 stock. Margin requirements are on a $3 stock are punishing at may firms, so it seemed that the R/S set us up for the AF article and the subsequent attach.
Gary - seems to me that like me you assess your performance on the purchases you make. I don't marry stocks, I buy them to make money... at this time INO is not making that matching my objective... I wish I had stayed with the 30K shares I bought at $.66, as the bulk of what I have purchased since has eliminated my profits and put me in the hole. The poor performance has been a problem for a year now and the last quarter a disaster, bringing us close to dangerous support levels. If we break 8 and hold, we are in trouble
unfortunately the ongoing price action of the stock is one of the leading supporters of the repetitive bashers... I can ignore what they say but I miss the additional 6 figure number that used to be in my accounts.
The lack of comment by the company is yet another negative.
It was easier to ignore when the shorts were underwater, but at this price that's not the case.
I got in at 66 cents and added through time, I have been waiting on the promised Ebola trials that I had the impression would start Dec/Jan. I knew the risks in bio stocks and INO's risk assessment is deteriorating... If they can move and produce as they have stated... then demonstrate the capability.
nice they are active, but the measure of ones investment is in the increase in ones value sheet.
Granted entering a position one expects swings, but the duration that this has performed poorly co-incides with the 1 for 4 R/S... effectively the price is down over $4 and it is not improving.
I have seen handsome profits turn to a small loss as I increased my stake.
So for rotosurfer - I would suggest a third category of board members - aware and disappointed. I had an 80k buffer that has turned to a 20k loss. I really didn't expect to see the 9's let alone the 8's...
I am getting tired of waiting for some meaningful upward price movement. While I see tons of posts taunting the shorts, the fact is they are making money and I am losing it...
I would like to see them regret their positions but from past analysis of the position entries it would take a 20% increase before they are in a losing position... those dummies.
Is anything happening here on the expected Ebola trials or partnerships?
I rarely ignore id's as I can select what I open, but for this arfmo_cat individual I am putting into ignore status. Hopefully the rest of the adults out there will join me.
I replied to one of his posts that his facts were wrong and he removed the thread to the tune of 19 messages.
I hold INO and have had an eye on ONCS as a related type of company. I occasionally view the board... after looking at a few of AC's posts I thought why not give him a chance to end the childish behavior and see if this person was capable of manning up and admitting the mistake. Instead the posts just disappeared.
Verdict in - not possible - very little hope of responsible or desirable behavior or input. So now in ignore status - good riddance AC.
