True, thanks for the message. I puzzled by the lack of volume and momentum. The FDA has set the bar so low for approval compared to their previous trial. Like you , I believe this is one of the best stories unfolding in 2015. I'm adding on all the dips. Have a great weekend. Blessings.
I have no position in Blue yet have been following the story for some time. The company has a one Phase 2 trial , one Phase and two 1/2 Trials ( animals ) Finer is a relatively young man ( 56 ). You never know if he's ill or perhaps a family member. Regarding his exercising his options those are built in vesting periods and very normal for BIO start ups. As, It creates some payoff of the years of grinding away. His base was 400k after taxes / still a lot but with his brain 1mm seems more reasonable. He must have boat load of options left based on hitting benchmarks. At the end of the day, its unexpected but in my humble opinion does not change the story of a company potentially on verge of curing some major diseases. Albeit , it might take 2-3 more years to get to market with a product. I believe the company is fair valued at 2.5bb until further data is released. I have no position here but keeping an eye on space as I have a sizeable investment in CLDN that is in the same space. The FDA gave them fast track approval on a GT for heart disease. FDA news comes in April. If , they get approved for market after a Phase 2, Blue will certainly feel the upward momentum as it signals to the entire BIO space that the FDA wants these therapies on the market ASAP ! BLUE will recover , might take some patience. Just go back to your original convictions and ask yourself has the news today altered my reason for investment thesis. Blessings.
Gross domestic product expanded at a 2.6 percent annual pace after the third quarter's spectacular 5 percent rate, the Commerce Department said in its first GDP snapshot on Friday.
The slowdown, which follows two back-to-back quarters of very strong growth, is likely to be short-lived given the enormous tailwind from lower gasoline prices. Most economists believe fundamentals in the United States are strong enough to cushion the blow on growth from weakening overseas economies.
Even with the moderation in the fourth quarter, growth remained above the 2.5 percent pace, which is considered to be the economy's potential. Economists had expected the economy to expand at a 3 percent rate in the fourth quarter.
For all of 2014, the economy grew 2.4 percent compared to 2.2 percent in 2013. The report came two days after the Federal Reserve said the economy was expanding at a "solid pace," an upgraded assessment that keeps it on track to start raising interest rates this year.
CLDN could potentially see 30 prior to April FDA news, the float Is 12mm , if the FDA momentum traders show up it could go parabolic. Its got a huge chance of getting approved if that happens it could see 60 plus overnight. as for now, definitely under the radar screen. the market makers are having a field day taking out stops. I'm long of course and feel good about this one.
Really helped a layman like me have a chance of understanding how GT tech works. Very exciting. I believe the FDA approves drug for market with ongoing safety tests. See you at 80-100 by May, 2015 .Unless acquired pre April.
I have to ask the question could Pfizer be interesting at acquiring CLDN. They already have some skin in the game and the manufacturing and channels to distribute. They would not have to wait for FDA news. They have 33bb on cash and have been on a hunt for a acquisition , albeit a much bigger one. Like Teva. Anyway, sorry about the post as it could seem like more dribble but the I believe the question has merit.
throw in the fact that the float is 12mm ,brokerage houses will allow for margin again once the V picks and that the FDA MOMO crowd will show up in the next 30 days we could be looking at 30 pre announcement. in my humble opinion.... yet, i'm often wrong just ask my wife.
that sucks.. when do think the brokerage houses will allow for margin again. ... seems like volume would have to really pick up as its all about liquity
thanks Banman.... I'm adding here as well. I hate to ask a tea leaf question as I don't want to annoy anyone. But, I was thinking based on similar story stocks that CLDN could run to 30- 40 pps prior to announcement then if approved could perhaps get to 75... call me crazy. any thoughts on this weegie board question... lol !
