Like in auto racing there can only be one winner...VRTX may be the first one to lose the race in the Hep C Field.. If not GILD,ABBV will own that market...
not greedy, covered at 76.02.. thanks all
I shorted VRTX at 82.50. I'm shaking in my flip flips. This stock is way ahead of itself. People are going nuts over phase 2 data? That's a long way from FDA approval.
Top that with VRTX being completely washed out of the hep c market,, massive insider selling, and potential stock ATM, its not unrealistic to say its time for a breather.
In the short term betting against VRTX isnt entirely a stupid move... Since hitting its high the stock has been in a downward trend...My target is 68.
"Next Year....." But in the meantime the rent, electric bills, and all those excised stock options keep coming in.......
300mil of actual income a year paid a lot of bills .......
VRTX can kiss 300+million a year goodbye sooner than later......

could you cut and paste the link?
have hep C and cirrhosis.
it doesn't include IFN, which i tried previously.
With the IFN when they told me it wasn't working at 3 months I was relieved. it was the single most horrible experience of my life.
I know folks who have gone through treatment with "triple TX" and it would make for a good horror film.
I am in a clinical trial with the new protocol which uses all pills.
I went undetectable at 2 weeks and all the inflammatory markers were WNL from the first week!. Now at week 13 and UND,
My HGB and bilirubin are WNL also
THERE ARE NO SIDE EFFECTS WHATSOEVER.
Any treatment that includes IFN is going the way of the horse and buggy within the next 24 months,
I am so short VRTX . I suggest you do the same.
I am very long with my the sponsior of the trial I am in .
what would you expect to hear from her? "Sell it like all the insiders, its a ATm machine?"
I normally dont respond to the obvious intellectually challenged,
but that would be wonderful news.
Then Google comes in at 40 bucks a share and buys them
Maybe thats why they are buying 40 million bucks worth of their own stock last quarter, eh?.
Great info!!!! Thanks for the heads up.
The worse yahoo does the more lucrative it becomes..

Bid $2.99 ask $3.00 @ 08:50 ....Nuff said.
my take is the folks that intitally bought into this did so with the sole purpose of selling it.
with literally no shares in the float , unless something realy negative comes up somone is going to keep it going up with 100 share lots until the sellers show up. all this year they havent. dont expect them to now,,,just my take
or there is speculation they are selling the company and thats whats driving the stock
Those people stand to make a lot of money at $16.00 a share.
I dont see where the FDA has assured anyone that the drug being approved is in the bag.
Should be interesting next week when all those shares are released
Prior to and in connection with Hyperion Therapeutics, Inc.'s (the "Company") initial public offering of its common stock in July 2012, all of the Company's executive officers and directors and substantially all of its stockholders entered into lock-up agreements with the underwriters of the initial public offering pursuant to which they agreed not to dispose of any of the Company's securities, whether now owned or hereinafter acquired, for a period of 180 days after the public offering date, July 25, 2012 (the "Initial Lock-Up Period"), subject to extension under certain circumstances (the "Lock-Up Agreements"). The Lock-Up Agreements provide that if, during the last 17 days of the Initial Lock-Up Period, the Company announces material news, the Initial Lock-Up Period will be automatically extended until the expiration of the 18-day period beginning on the date of release of such news. On January 16, 2013, the Company announced that it received a communication from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration advising the Company that it should not to expect to receive a final action by the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA) action date of January 23, 2013. As a result of the announcement on January 16, 2013, the Initial Lock-Up Period under the Lock-Up Agreements has automatically been extended through the close of business on February 3, 2013.

I love AF. I can't tell you how many times I have either bought cheap shares of a good company or been able to cost average down after one of his hatchett jobs.
If u are able to defer gratification, you should love AF......
With 18 million + shares traded yesterday one would have to think there was some major covering going down.
$12.89 Shorts trying to pull it down to cover which brings it right back day after day makes AMRN a great trading stock.
I called a broker at Ameritrade yesterday regarding short interest with AMRN.
They told me it was 18.4 million shares short, real time.
Call then yourselves....
On the other hand, there's 80% of the float with tons of people that feel it will be approved.
I'm just sayin'....................

Been doing this for some time to some of the more verbal bashers. Instead of responding to these types, try ignoring them.
Kick them out of your House
It will drive em crazy.
