Oil market is saying price per barrel could get as low as $25 a barrel and be tolerated. This will make immediate inflation control difficult though, severely impacting countries trying to steer their inflation the most like Japan. I have been considering an oil play just like everyone else, but I don't think we're near the bottom yet unfortunately.

Supposedly, Obama's State of the Union will be proposing increased gains taxes and also closing trust fund tax loopholes. Without getting political, we would all be impacted by an increased gains tax, but I always thought halving that tax was absurd, so I personally support the restoration of that government revenue source. Howevet, don't jump to locking everything in a trust to bypass major taxes just yet... Double or Death taxation never sat well with me, but it serves its purpose (curbing wealth inequality). Doubt the Republican majority wI'll be on board anyway, but should be interesting...

Shorts or doomsayers can say whatever they want, I was quite happy to accumulate more significantly cheaper than the past 2 days. Going back up IMHO and picked a price I'm happy with rather than trying to predict the bottom and paying even more when it bounces, hard.

Those Calls I sold and bought back 3 times for 43, 37, & 22%? Bought some back again today for a buck lol. Got a bunch of thumbs down last time for saying this, but it's been a swing trader's dream lately. Might wait for IDRA to hit 6-7 this time though. A lot of accumulation in higher highs this time before the drop today...

Just wanted to clarify, I only day trade IDRA. Not in it for the long haul. So far, it has been a swing trader's dream.

Not a question of if/when. Market has been and will remain in pullback until oil bottoms and stabilizes. Good thing is MNK remains undervalued with even more attention on that undervaluation. So, it's resisting the trend and slowly rising to where it should be. Until it hits a 20 P/E or more, I think pps and related options will continue rising accordingly. Economies still need drugs, regardless of inflation, deflation, or recession. GL on all your trades Johnny. Still holding ALL my MNK, even the short term trades. I did sell my IRA swing AGAIN today for yet another 22% profit, and I do expect a potential pullback which I will buy back in on if it occurs.

They are saying everyone is starting to worry about DEflation (which is far scarier and worse than bad inflation) due to commodities plummeting. Not just oil either. Gold and Copper got hit today too. You don't have to worry too much when your stocks were/are already very undervalued when bought though... (MNK)

I'm going to play and guess above 104, so let's say close around 104.50? However, I don't think that temporary resistance at 107 will last very long ; ) Q4 in Feb & Q1 in May should be fun

Don was sick of our shareholder value being attacked and made the right decision, but can you imagine where QCOR would be on its own producing these kinds of figures?! Sometimes I wish they kept their independence. I like to fantasize the market would have eventually gotten it once those eye catching numbers just kept getting bigger.

  • Someone is still trying to hold the pps down, whether it's to accumulate more, or cover a very underwater short. If everyone listened to the presentation this afternoon, that's going to be very difficult to do tomorrow morning... Long

MNK: "We've Just Set The Table" in 2014

They made it pretty clear growth has been substantial... purely based on their end of the quarter quoted cash, that either acquisitions are already underway or that they are actively hunting for more acquisitions to spend all that cash on, and finally, that they are bracing for some MAJOR growth based on the new management structure they are implementing. Acthar and Synacthen will be expanding internationally with additional revenue from other countries. With the ALS study and new/expanding current indications, this is only the tip of the iceberg as far as expansion and ongoing catalysts IMHO

A re-test would involve MNK falling below 100 again, and I just don't see that happening after breaking through it twice with significantly higher than average volume on BOTH occasions. I see temporary resistance forming between 105 and 110 perhaps? So, let's just say a 14 day RSI @ 70% or $107.38? If we went to 80%, that would put us just above the predicted 120+ value! $121.27... We're going to get to that 120 number pretty soon based on statistics alone, regardless of any catalysts or news. Keep holding those shares IMHO

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Where does the board see temporary resistance settling next? I decided not to sell ANYTHING, even my short term plays until after the conference, but after I also decided not to sell any of my long term plays until ALS results are released. Quite a few catalysts this year that can keep changing the temporary resistance in new highs territory...
