Not sure how Eddie pulled that one off
quarter ends today. Window dressing. No one wants to be seen holding VRX In their portfolio.
This is a complete lie and fabrication. There's no Bloomberg piece published that mentions this anywhere about Valeant. Nice try.
I sold a bunch of puts that expire next week, right around current market price. The premiums were juicy, and I can start praying that the stock doesn't drop 10% from here lol.
I understand - I'm just nervous about selling naked calls down here, in case we get another squeeze up, and I'm forced to cover at a loss due to margin call.
I would rather wait and hope that it squeezes up again on no news, and I can start selling calls again.
The options will have a lot of premium built in due to the volatility of the stock. Best way to bet on BK in my opinion is selling calls. And being able to handle any squeezes that occur along the way.
Yep, people have been talking about shorting but the borrow costs are large. And puts are expensive. Which means the calls are too, which is great for call sellers.
My only concern is the stock getting squeezed up again in the near future for example if they actually *do* pay the interest.
Quite a few members on seekingalpha seem to be rejoicing at seeing interest in their account and warning all shorts to cover. I sold calls against this yesterday when it was in the $5's and $6's. I can't see any outcome that isn't a Chapter 11 for this company? Why are they dragging it out
Jack, I read one person who spoke to Fidelity, and they're saying interest was paid by the company. I cannot confirm though - it would be foolish for BTU to pay interest now regardless.
