Share price of LMLP reflects price of the index shares. If you build a test portfolio of the weighted components of this index and see the daily fluctuation of the share prices of these instruments, you will see that LMLP price reflects this index x 2. When these stocks go down 1% as a group, LMLP goes down roughly 2% and vice versa. Nothing magical here. The traing price rarely gets out of line with this Indicative Value, which by the way is published on UBS website and updated every 15 or so minutes.

Looks like LMLP has the same profile of MORL where it has 1 big month distribution and 2 small month dist. based upon timing of component dividends. Looking for roughly a 15% annual distribution based upon index X 2.

    Sentiment: Buy

Did you happen to catch the Washington Post analysis over the weekend. 288K new jobs, 95% of which were PART TIME. Additionally 850K jobs were converted from full-time to part-time. Labor force participation rate at 30 year low. Right now for every new job, 1.1 jobs are converted to part-time. This is not a healthy recovery. Its not to hard to find out why - Obamacare.
