anil,
You characterize yourself as "innocent", when in truth you are incredibly naive. You bought TranSwitch thinking you could quintuple your money. Don't you think a "reward" of that magnitude comes with a ton of risk? When Dr. Ali made the decision to exit telecom and concentrate on video connectivity, it was a bold decision fraught with uncertainty. If you didn't realize that, it is your own fault. All I am saying is you made the decision to buy, so just own up to it. Things may still work out anyway.

Good Morning Altrfan. I agree with you in that Dr. Ali has been very consistent in his forecasts for future HD growth and profitability. If we get cash flow breakeven in Q3 and profitability in Q4, the stock could easily get to $5. To get there however, HD revenues are going to have to really spike in Q3. Revenues were $200K in Q1, presumably will show only incremental improvement in Q2, and then will have to go to over $2MM in Q3 to exceed telecom revenue as Dr. Ali predicted. That is a huge spike and will definitely get the attention of investors. I am tempted to buy more, but with 100k shares will probably just sit tight and (I know it is not a strategy. HOPE.

I agree jda, what a whiner! Nobody forced anil to buy TranSwitch. Instead of calling the CEO a liar he needs to look in the mirror and man up.
Ochs
paris,
You demonstrate that you are still an idiot.

When Chairman Lynch made a statement prior to the last conference call, one of his key points was that TranSwitch needed "scale" to be successful. He talked about TranSwitch partnering with a larger company and to date that has not happened. New Merc has posited that the problem may be in the production of the IC and whether they can deliver a reliable and cost effective solution. It has been over a month since we had any news on the acceptance of video connectivity products and it is reasonable to think the orders aren't exactly pouring in. Time is not on the side of the company and if the ramp doesn't materialize soon, they are done. Unfortunately bad things can happen to good people i.e. I think Dr. Ali and his management team have given it their all and it is definitely not a scam.

kwok,
You need to do a little more research. The shares are not going down because of a possible reverse split. The issue here is not delisting, but the survival of the company. My take is that they have a great product, but because of the precarious financial position, large companies are reluctant to commit to buying.
Ochs
New Merc,
I am technically challenged, so I have a question for you. You wrote "the risk factor is tXCC's inability to implement their designs, with a minimum of errors, into the latest cmos process technology. They have failed time and time again to achieve this goal over the last decade for a multitude of products. It has resulted in their IC solutions being too costly and with too man work-arounds and has impacted every production ramp forecast". TranSwitch is a fab less company and uses Taiwas Semi as its manufacturer. It would seem to me that it is the fab that takes the design and produces the IC. Wouldn't they be the one to implement TranSwitch's design "in the latest cmos process"? Thank you in advance for your answer.

anilkoomar,
If you are ashamed, I am absolutely mortified. I too believe in the story, but it certainly doesn't look good. My position is 25X yours and at over twice the cost average, if that makes you feel any better. So far, it is by far the biggest mistake of my investing experience. Hey, as Yogi said, it ain't over until the fat lady sings.

Tex,
Another brilliant idea from an intellectually challenged individual. How do you keep doing it? Simply amazing. You are suggesting that it would be better for the company if Bosi, Bar-Niv, and Moshe resigned??? I don't know what you have been smoking, but that is completely stupid. TranSwitch doesn't have far to go to zero, but that would cut the stock in half.
Why do you refuse to answer the question of why you post here? I have asked you many times and you just keep posting your same old Bravo Sierra. Man up and disclose your agenda.
Ochs
tex,
Try to stay focused, why do you post here? Simple question deserves a simple answer. Now you are on a rant about financial terrorism and Madoff. Where the heck did that come from?
Ochs
tex,
I'll answer your questions if you answer a couple of mine. First, why do you post here if you are not an investor? Second, are you paranoid and given to conspiracy theories?
Ochs
tex,
How can those statements be false when Dr. Ali is talking about the future? Makes no sense. If TranSwitch doesn't meet his expected goals then you have a point. Until then you are just spitting in the wind.
Ochs
reed1v,
In Air Force survival school, they teach you that you can safely drink your own urine if it comes to that. I agree with your 4 year old however, as the thought is yucky poo. Now poo would be another whole discussion.

Hey Tex,
It is always amusing when you think you are being so clever in your posts and unknowingly you reveal your abject ignorance. Gandhi was an Indian leader who led India to independence from Britain after World War II. He was trained as a lawyer and was the architect of non violent protest. The river you refer to is the Ganges. This is the most important river to Hindus and is thought to be a source of purification. Now we have the facts straight, let me answer your question. No, I don't need a rinsing in the "Gandhi" as, I have already taken a bath with TranSwitch stock. There is no point in overkill. I have already been cleansed of my "depravity of deception".

9000 shares traded in first thirty minutes. Just the computer playing with itself.
Ochs
texormeter,
You are an idiot! EOM.
Ochs
flexible,
As always you over simplify, but maybe that is because you are simple. The transition from telecom to video connectivity has been an evolutionary process. It has been going on for a little over two and a half years. Stick with the facts and avoid the "headlines" and we could have a discussion.
Ochs
music,
That was a fair post i.e. without the strident bashing.
Ochs
New Merc,
You echo many of my thoughts in your assessment. Despite the unpleasantness of dilution, the fact that they have been able to sell more shares to three different parties as the stock has cratered means their story is believable to more sophisticated and more informed investors than us retail poags. If they do get that "one new major commitment" from a big player (Samsung would be nice), the stock would double or triple in short order.
Ochs
music,
I am a believer, not a pumper. I have not suggested that anyone should buy this stock. You still haven't explained why you are hanging around this message board for the last decade. Why do you care? Why do you post? Are you saying that TranSwitch has never turned a profit in the life of the company?
