    bears in road

Kid, one of those dead bears was actually a bear suit.
I thought the Republicans might try to fight this out a little longer, but they're already backpedaling.
I sold my S&P short ETF today and will be going long with UTX.
I didn't pull the trigger today, maybe first thing tomorrow.
Hey, if you can't beat 'em join 'em, especially when the game is riggged.
Not just a strong company, but you also get easy money from Yellen, and a kick the debt can down the road administration in control, what a deal.

    Sentiment: Buy

    Biker,
Don't expect anything to change with your buddie Obama, he's in the pocket of the big banks.
He's the ulimate front man, convinces guys like you he's fighting for the little guy, when he really works for his banker buddies.
Check the campaign contributions he got from the big banks as well as all the government positions he's appointed to people with direct links to the banks.

    Biker,
The problem is Obama is like giving your teenager a credit card.
The more you increase his credit limit, the more he'll spend and the higher your debt goes.
Eventually, you have no choice but to take drastic measures and cut him off.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

Pretty sure the government shutdown will continue and they'll probably wait until the last possible minute to prevent the default.
In the meantime, a shutdown hurts UTX more than most companies, so UTX will probably sink further every day the shutdown continues.
No telling how low the share price will go, I'm not buying in at any specific price target, I'll calmly wait for the government theatrics to end.
Great weather for a bear suit.
I think I see Kid, he's switched from prancing to doing the moon walk.

Kid, $120 is possible, but it looks like a dip rather than a bounce before we get there.
You might have to delay your prancing for a while and throw in a little bit of the moon walk.

Hey numbnuts, no one cares about JC Penney or the other stocks you're pontificating about, if they did they'd go to the JCP board.

Well no one knows you better than your wife.
You seem to be new here, bet you bought UTX at $110.
Should have bought a bear suit instead.

If it wasn't funny, it'd be disgusting.
2 guys who don't even own TEX stock monopolizing the board in an effort to feed their egos.
Like it's their own personal teen chat line.
Do everyone a favor, quit kissing each other's butts in public and get a room.

Other than the made for TV sideshow, politicians on both parties are basically the same, both are bought and paid for by special interest groups and corporations.
Obama is the ulitmate front man, his speeches make him sound like he's a champion of the poor when he's really only worried about the stock market, his banker buddies, and kicking the can down the road.
Good time to calmly stay out of the market as I watch the new reality TV show called the Battle of the Budget.
    Pass the popcorn.

Kid, you're not alone, just about everyone in stocks is having a fabulous year, but that makes a short-term pullback more likely, not less likely.
Doesn't require a lot fo analysis, seems pretty clear to me, but what do I know, I'm a bull in a bear suit.

Kid, I don't see a bounce, I envision more of a cliff where the relatively small trickle of a loss could erupt into the dam breaking with the right negative catalyst.
Could be the debt ceiling, tapering or some other unforseen news event.
The market is looking for a reason to sell off from the recent highs and take profits.

Looks like the rally is starting to "calm" down.
And it doesn't appear that the market will have clear sailing over the next couple weeks either.
Still think there's a buying opportunity right around the corner.
Soon the bear suit that people point at, laugh at, and drive their cars over, will come back into style.

Careful kid, wouldn't want you to get a PWI (Prancing While Intoxicated).
I will continue wearing this hot bear suit and wait for the market cools off.
What goes up, must come down.

Kid, can't turn bull just yet, the market is moving from the thin air of all-time highs into an area of irrational exuberance, also known as prancing around the playground.
Setting up for a short-term stumble which could be kicked off by the Fed meeting.

    Kid, I hear you.
It's hard to stay calm in this bear suit while the market's on fire, but now I have no choice but to wait for things to cool off.

    Riddle me this Kid,
What makes you think I need to calm down, if I was any calmer I'd be dead.
In any case, auto sales and other economic reports looking good, I'll be putting away the bear suit shortly and join you with the running of the bulls, but not yet.
I'm waiting for the Fed and Syria cards to get flipped, then I'll place my bet.
I sold my UTX at 105 and TEX at 30, so I haven't missed out on anything.

"A coward dies many deaths , a brave man dies but once......El Kid"
    Riddle me this, Kid.
So I guess you consider yourself "a brave man" because you're money's in the stock market?
Kind of warped sense of valor, as well as a bit comical.

    Those 94 points have vaporized.
    Riddle me this Kid,
I predict too much risk and not enough reward over the next few weeks.
Which is why I will calmly sit on the sidelines and watch the salmon trying to swim upstream.

Huh? Predicting is a necessary part of investing, it's the main reason to buy, sell or hold.
You're beginning to sound like the Riddler.
