Its the refieners, the refiners are holding back to raise the price. If oil is not refined then it is useless for autos. Also you can thank the idiotic enviromentalists for preventing any more refineries in the USA. These idiots want to take us back to the 1700's except of course for their beloved computers which burn a lot of electricity.
ERIC IS A MORON!! Anyways if Jnpr can do 20% a yr we don't need any more acquistions also Rami the Ceo is a TRUE GENIUS who understands the mkt jnpr is in and the environment, the guy has something like 15 patents and has good business sense, who knows someday Jnpr could be even bigger than Cisco.
A few days ago somebody or some organization bought 10,000 calls of $30 for Oct and then the next day they bought 10,000 calls for 29 for July and it seems to me that somebody knows something about a buyout because usually someone has some inside info before anything happens in stocks. I remember right before Msft bought the Nok phone division there was a huge option buy. I think the total for the 20,000 options came to around a million and a half dollars which tells me something is in the works and I agrree it seems like a lot of people are trying to keep a price lid on jnpr before something big happens, probably a buyout from Eric. Why would eric say that it could make a big purchase to be discussed sometime in june. Who else would eric be interested in buying except Jnpr and Ciena is not a big purchase.
I agree so this is just a small stall in Jupiter's bull path. Also, Eric needs Jnpr more than Jnpr needs Eric. A lot of morons like Genovese don't see the threat that an Alu-Nok merger makes. Nokia has a lot of cash on hand from Microsoft buy-out of it's phone division and w/a partner like Alu it can bury Eric in a few yrs when the merger is completed so Eric needs to buy Jnpr to compete in the future, something that a bone-headed analyst like Genovese wouldn't think about. Also Eric can do a similar deal for Jnpr mainly stock and some cash or even all stock and in that way they could definitely afford to buy Jnpr.
