At&t called me and offered me a deal of internet/phone for $53 a month instead of the $83 a month I was paying. When they called me people in the background were yelling and barking so loud that I couldn't believe it was At&t. They said I'd get 6mbps, but after installing said 3mbps was all they could provide.
In the long run, this is good for me because I'll pay $30 a month less for a year and then I'll cancel.
They just emailed me saying that I have to set up an account to pay my bill, but it wouldn't recognize my email. I can't believe they couldn't just
continue to use my auto-bill payment from At&t.
I called them and the agent acted like he was doing me a favor by not charging me $5.00 to speak to him
in order to pay my bill.
I've talked to them ten times in the last month and they had someone out for three hours to switch my modem.
All this so they can make $30 less a month from me?
If you don't like HuffPost then don't read it or watch it. I don't like Fox News, but I don't go around crying about it all day and night. I feel the dumb people need their own network and Fox News provides that for them.
Here's an idea for you. Since you don't like the Huff Post-DON'T READ IT!
Fox News and the Drudge Report do the exact same thing except they cater to the far right.
Anyone with half a brain is aware of this.
The problem that right wing nutcases have is that their sites, like the beloved "drudge
report", won't even allow comments, so their trolls have to come to the liberal sites
in order to be heard.
At least the liberal sites like Aol, Yahoo, Cnn, etc. allow freedom of speech.
Does anyone else get a pop-up virus warning whenever they go to this site? They have good content,
but I always get these false warnings from a company trying to sell antivirus software, which is probably a virus itself.
I completely agree with you. Aol is incredibly cheap compared to it's peers. It would fit nicely with many
other companies including twtr,msft,cbs,etc.
I hope it comes down to 40-42 so I can buy some options. I do own stock in it, but have also been trading it well over the last two months.
Considering that there are more left wing liberals now than rightwing nutcases, I consider that to be a plus.
I love huffpo!
I agree. He should resign or be fired immediately. While I think it was smart for him to apologize and
reverse his decision, the comment was so atrocious that it will be a cloud over aol as long as he stays on.
Also, what did I say that was racist or against "free rights"?
You call Obama a communist, but during his reign most of the economic gains have gone to
the richest 1%.
I've been a stocktrader for 15 years and I've made great money under Clinton and Obama, but lost
money under Bush. I don't understand why republicans cry so much when the economy functions so
much better under a democratic president.
Please write in English. The president's name is Obama. It doesn't bother me at all that you disagree
with me, but it makes me cringe when you speak in Rush Limbaugh's baby talk. It makes you look
so stupid and childish and takes away from the point you're trying to make.
It's really hard for an employee to do his best when the company he works for shows so little respect for
him. It's quite ironic when you consider that Huffpo is so pro-Obama. It's time for a new Ceo.
All conservatives think about is keeping as much money in as few hands as possible. They spend their whole
lives spreading hate towards women, gays, hispanics, asians and anyone else who isn't a white bigot.
Aol is going through a major turnaround. They're getting rid of the non performing assets and
have made great purchases with the huffington post and adap.tv.
Over the last three quarters, they've beat consensus by 28%, 44%, and 57%. Also, Huffington Post
is expected to become profitable soon.
At a valuation of just $3.6 billion, they could easily be bought out by a dozen companies such as
msft, yhoo, fb,etc.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
