Obamacare is unconstitutional invasion of privacy. Government will have real time access to financial and health records, will eventually become single payer monopoly and dictate treatments based on how much money pharma companies contribute to various campaigns. Americans are so dumbed down from drinking fluoride, swallowing poisons (glyphosate), popping antidepressants and receiving multiple injections that they either don't care or don't have a clue what is happening. Particularly i don't understand why African Americans are supporting policies and a President that is re-enslaving them
Democrats wanted too much change too fast. Lied to the folks about what they really wanted to do. Democrats have no credibility. Also don't care if they overspend spend the government to breakdown. People that support the vast deficit spending (unfunded in real terms since their is no underlying economy backing the deficit spending) will be losing all personal and economic freedoms as the economy deteriorates. Must be that a lot of the people who voted for Obama think they have nothing to lose, but they will lose everything.
Have the village dolts figured out by now that you are no longer in charge of your own health care. Now the corporate parasites (campaign contributors who buy candidates every election) will decide what you get, how much you get, when you get it and how much you pay. When you get health care it will be delivered by the same dull-witted and poorly motivated lifelong bureaucrats who think working between breaks is really too much to expect from a career civil servant.
I would prefer to pay cash and go to a doctor of my choice. That will be less affordable if I am paying additional taxes to government. I would prefer that various departments not have access to my private financial information. I am just guessing that out of every $1.00 I give to the government at least 75% of that is wasted by pork (bridges to nowhere), payoffs to campaign contributors ($500 million to bankrupt Solyndra), and foreign aid that provides me with absolutely no tangible benefit (payments to Al-Qaeda or foreign aid to Iraq, Egypt and Israel). As far as government credits for contributions to health care plans, well, taxpayers have to foot that bill, too, so how is any kind of government credit a benefit. I really think a lot of people really don't understand what a wasteful and stupid scam government really is! A lot of folks think they are getting something good with this program, but the bill was written by staffers and lobbyists for the benefit of corporate parasites. It just seems a lot of Americans are very naïve about government. Better crack those history books!
The freeloaders and creeps are in Washington DC and on Wall Street. Lets give credit where credit is due. The folks who are collecting welfare aren't the people running the system into the ground because they don't have any power to do jack. This started with passage of NAFTA during Clinton administration and Hillary wanted the healthcare so she line her pockets with money from the healthcare industry.
David Suhy is presenting at this meeting on November 1-5th. Stock already got a good boost from International Symposium for the Study of Liver Disorders in Melbourne. Lot of good news lately and looks like professionals in the field are responding well to information being presented.
I can simplify this quite a bit. No need to read a long post. The majority of people who voted for Obama didn't just want free stuff. Many of them are out of work, poor and want opportunity. They heard Romney talking to his base and stupidly writing off 47% of the electorate because he knew, Romney, had nothing at all to offer them, that he, Romney, represents the status quo, that his history at Bain Capital was one of breaking up businesses and exporting jobs to China to take advantage of human slave labor and to drive down the cost of labor in the United States so that rich people here can have slave labor, too. At least Obama had enough common sense to lie to people about what his plans were.
Since this acquisition is supposed to be immediately accretive to earnings and because TE is buying into a sun rich region, I think they should be looking at acquiring or developing solar assets to further diversify their energy production holdings, also because the sun is an unlimited free source of energy which can be captured and resold on a profitable scale. I don't see coal as being such a downside because gasification techniques enable cleaner and more efficient production. The declining cost of solar energy seems to be the dominant trend in energy production.
The way I view the development of independent energy sources mentioned, businesses and households, is that utilities can buy back this power at discounted rates (they have a monopoly over distribution) and it will become a relatively low cost power supply for resale.
This stock punished buyers by lowering its dividend a few quarters back. There are other dividend stocks, some utilities paying over 5% and others like finance companies paying over 10%. I would say this stock is a buy when it goes below $25, then the most recent dividend will be at least 5%. Also these dividend stocks will be hit hard if the interest rate goes up. Too bad desperate investors are always looking at the projected returns from these stocks instead of looking what they actually made so the market is always ahead of retail investors. Let it sink to $24-25!
This mess started with George Bush Senior and the commitment of US military resources against Iraq.. Iraq (Hussein) was a stable ally. Military action is necessitated by the failure of diplomacy and by the private interests of the military-industrial complex. The US has been easily boxed in by so-called "allies" in the Mideast who only seek to further their own national objectives. Obama's particular blend of demographic characteristics makes him the latest "sap" to come along who thinks he will be remembered as the great American hero who changed the world. Like Cynthia McKinney says, now the war is being conducted in blackface.
Feds need to cut back on all spending. There is no incentive for Feds to balance the budget since they have a conflict of interest. the more they spend of out money the more job security they have. Its a fundamental conflict and that is the reason a lot of these programs should be devolved to the states. More competition, like auto insurance.
She probably thinks that about all the people who don't watch her show, too. Her world is limited to all the adoring fans who sit in the studio and watch her perform and she has no exposure to the people who don't think she's really that entertaining. After a while a lot of so called "stars" actually start to believe their own hype. Its a matter of perspective, of course, she has enough money so that she will never have her healthcare policy cancelled and her neighborhood is miles away from the closest Obamaville.
If this is an argument to raise taxes then it misses the point. Raising taxes just puts more money in the hands of the endemically corrupt, politicians.
People who think they know it all don't like other people disagreeing with them. People in the majority now, be it Sebelius, Pelosi, Reid, Obama, and all the drama they have created wasting trillions, passing laws that no one has read, does anyone think this is anything but a payback for money received from corporations and banks. They are stealing everything that isn't nailed down and are too stupid to admit how incompetent they are and change course before the ship goes down. This is a prime example of incompetent, egotistical and corrupt politicians killing the goose who laid the golden egg (the American economy). I knew Obama was bad news as soon as he came into office and spending millions of dollars on golf vacations and trips around the world on the taxpayers dime. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Corruption under successive administrations is leading to the destruction of our economy and ability to safeguard American interests. Good example of the slogan "Right makes Might". The United States could disappear overnight, bleeding from a thousand cuts inflicted by our own corruptly elected self-serving politicians. Sadly, the only way this will change is for the economy to crash, then the country will go broke and Washington just won't have any money to spend.
