the prices for meats as well as ingredients are zipping up ! As the mo moes hype it up.
very bad move I can see the puns now about burritos and guns,,,meantime the drought is reaching epic proportions in southern California,TX etc, This as workers make food lines as there are no crops to harvest therefore no work,
Akbar, I know how smart you are
Arguments are shockers, even for mobsters
No awkward doctor, will doctor this factor
Sibling faces the chopper, as doctors’ dicker, he falters
No kind of blocker, will stop the fall on collar
Dollar for dollar, hour for hour, he’ll lose the talker, n’ walker
Honor the hopper on the wall next to the Oscar
Watch is the stopper, as tic tock goes that punisher
Beef: a dynamic price increase as precipitation patterns during the remainder of 2014 is expected to fall dismally short. The drought has reduced beef supply therefore higher beef prices.
Pork production: The Porcine Epidemic has causes Diarrhea & many death among the young piglets. Less bacon means higher prices.
Poultry meat prices are reaching record levels.
Agriculture futures: Corn up, wheat up, avocados up, tomatoes up, beans up, Lettuce up, price of a burritos?
Going way up.
Soaring global demand...surging prices...amidst a limited supply phenomenal is shaping up to be a commodities bull market. Investors in the know have been watching numerous industrial numbers which have confirmed future record prices. The demand is on track to outpace supply. The agricultural anomalies facing CMG’s staple commodities, can only face more prices increases. These are unique circumstances and could be here for a prolong period of time. IMHO
Mr. Cramer is correct in saying, Caveat emptor.
Do not be a chump stock to flump
Source the huge run up soon to hiccup
Use your noggin a lot bought on margin
Bulls be snogging but CMG is no bargain
Bears be clogging soon to be whopping
As Ukrainians bullets be dodging
Ukrainian wheat is gone as fires dawn
Evil has spawned a Genghis Khan
Tortillas throngs shortly bygone
From the prolonged string along Less
Oh by the way cmg gonna be stricter in checking ID's...
What you thought the teenagers went there for a burrito not a Margarita ! Yeah right LOLL !!!!!!!!!!
teenager's attention spam is 50 minutes and their food taste changes as fast as they dash into another romance :-))
Here's a given fact, CRB Food Stuff Index is up ~ 20% from Dec. 2013 to April 2014 and it has gone parabolic. What does this mean for CMG ? If they want to remain profitable they will need to match the parabolic rate of change with their menu prices. IMHO
I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all.
That is a though question, the simple answer is JPM did give them a pass.
I believe they are in error as CMG’s basic cost of goods continues to rise unabated.
Their PE is expanding not because of growth but because earrings are under pressure.
Will the customers continue to come in or will they slack off?
In any case, I suspect we will see further selling pressure from the 200-300 % gainers as things are not as they were.
A Growth stock usually @ minimum, sports a 15% growth or better in revenues (CMG 19.27%)
The PE of a grow stock usually sports on average a 30 PE.
This equates to a ~300/share valuation for CMG.
First comes the euphoria then comes the noria !
Unless the corps is all organically grown without pesticides and no man-made fertilizers and the meat producers only use grass fed or natural grain fed herds without any additives, the saying that your product is all-natural is absurd.
