This ETF permits me to play the tech market without the volatility of individual stocks. 50 day continues to outpace the 200 day average. So far so good!
Based on MMM's performance over the last few years and the current stock price does anticipate a stock split? I realize it does little in terms of shareholder valuation other increase the number of outstanding shares.
I don't know much about Scott Gruber. His resume looks pretty solid though. Finally, with Davis, who never understood the essance of leadership, gone VIST can move forward.
I wouldn't call MDT a "sell". However, in my opinion you can put the "layoff" blame on what's going on in Wash, DC and the polices of our president. He just doesn't understand business and continues to build-out more and more government. This, along with the administration's spending like there's no tomorrow and all the uncertainty has crippled business. The America people got just what they deserved. A wake-up call is just around the corner. The good news is that MDT's future is still bright.
I agree with you, absolutely no benefit to a split. If D did split the stock price would need to approach $100 before the Board would consider such a move.
Why just CHK's Yahoo message board and not all stock boards??? I haven't noticed this on other Yahoo message boards.
I can't believe that Yahoo would go to this extent to surpress information no matter how insignificant. You'll probably will see more of this in the future!
I hold a significan position in CHK. I feel our current president has little regard for American's energy businesses, including oil and gas. He's been particularly hard on the coal industry which in my opinion has a future if the right clean coal technologies can be utilized. Without making this a political blog what is the impact of another Obama presidential term on CHK? I would appreciate comments from CHK employees, too.
As best you can, try not to let the whole bunch at MSNBC, including Ed and the others with the exception of Morning Joe, get under your skin. The network is just a poorly run business that's out of control and based on their numbers and current ratings can't possibly last much longer. As I see, MSNBC probably has more letters in their name than true fans. Their doomed!
I'm tired of footing the bill too for those who don't have insurance and abuse the system. However, Obamacare isn't a practical or viable solution, particularly as it relates to a provision that mandates that people have and pay for healthcare insurance. This is a violation of our civil liberties which is why I suspect the SC will, at the very least, rule that the mandate is unconsitutional. In the meantime, we'll just have to wait and see. What we need is thoughtful healthcare reform that doesn't prospectively bankrupt the country!
This will all be over in due time. My guess is the Supreme Court will vote against the manadate associated with Obamacare which will vertually neuter this bad legislation once and for all.
