    Message Board Battle Royale

appletonrocks and sniperman4040, so you think what is said on the message board matters? It's a "Message Board Battle Royale"? You sound like hopeless politicians (especially of the liberal or progressive persuasion). Words (on the message board) mean NOTHING! Deeds by the company mean EVERYTHING. If, indeed, the company reports revenues of between $72 and $74 million for the fiscal year and further report another huge increase in LED retrofit sales, then everything you say about this "POS" is meaningless. So believe what you want to believe and say the silly words you like to say. As for me, I'm interested in what OESX reports and what their LED sales are. If LED business grows, then I'll buy your shares and let you stew in regret when the stock goes up.

sniperman4040 and exitnow164 you guys are a real hoot! Your negative commentary on OESX is already priced in the stock. That's why it's selling at $3.21, just above the low of $2.83. Yes, you can claim the management is a "mess" or that Neal is a great company. But that's all known. What you or I don't know is how fast the retrofit business is growing. What we do know, however, is that it is GROWING!!!! In FY2014 LED was 5.4% of total sales. As of the company's announcement on their guidance ($72-74 million in FY2015) it will be 44-43% of total sales. Apparently, this "mess" management has been able to grow the retrofit business with Fortune 500 customers, many of which are repeat customers. Your assessment of OESX is based on rearview mirror results on products that have been obsoleted. The new OESX is an LED retrofit business that is growing like a weed. When this company gets bought out at $10 per share, this "idiot" will be laughing all the way to the bank.

  • Just for the record, I'm buying more shares now - in the $3.20 range. You boo birds are so off the mark. This guy/company "neal", has he announced any $1 million contract? Probably not because small start-ups don't have the capacity to make such deals. And of course OESX gets their commodity LEDs from GE and Philips. How obtuse can you be? Does Kimberly Clark manufacture paper? Does Apple make computer chips? You sellers, I hope you go short. When this stock moves you'll be crying your eyes out.

You boo birds are wonderful news. Love the personal epithets - it just proves that when you can't make an argument you resort to foolish name calling. You're like politicians. Obviously, you know very little about their systems compared to the actual LEDs (made by GE and Phillips). But only Eaton makes similar systems. Love the negative chatter. Only time will tell if you or I are right. But I'm betting on Orion being sold out within a year. If you own the stock, sell it. I'm a buyer.

Total past sales irrelevant. LED sales are what matter and they are growing very fast. Orion is not the same company it was a year ago. It's an LED retrofit company and once that fact becomes apparent it will be bought out. Plain and simple.

March 31, 2015 fiscal year sales guidance is $72-74 million. Analysts project sales of $92 million for fiscal March, 31, 2016, a 26% increase. LED now 54% of sales and growing like a weed. Better margins and net profits to follow soon. If GE or Phillips doesn't buy this then they're either very foolish or asleep. My guess is that Orion will be history within a year - bought at roughly $10 a share. Believe it or not. But I'm buying.

All those boo birds trashing and shorting ICEL are in for a huge surprise. ICEL could ahead of its time but who else can make standardized cells? No one comes close to ICEL in this area. Al of these contracts and deals they're making today are just a prelude to massive acceptance of their technology. It's for REAL. To those who are shorting this stock, keep it up. It simply means more demand when it returns to the teens.
