I already have some in short term bond funds, getting about 3%. from a couple of Lord Abbett funds. I hate bonds, always have. Honestly, I don't know what to do. I should stash cash but you can't make money that way. Hey, I bought a house in Feb 2012 and Zillow has it up 30% in two years. real estate? Naw, too old for that. My stocks never call me at 2AM about a faucet leak. Good luck to you.
Same her with LNT and a little in SO. I don't know what to do but I do know when interest rates get back to something near normal, dividend payers will take a hit. It isn't just the utes either, it is JNJ KMB P&G and many others.
I think that was yaro's point. It is the Medicaid people that are signing up and why wouldn't they. It is free to them.
No, and nobody ever said that. Get real, what is the adult population of the United States? What percentage of the total is one million. Your 350 million number is ludicrous and the sad thing is you don't know it. Unbelievable!
Let me try to spell it out for you. Pick a number, any number, then calculate the number that is 1% of the total. You are kind of slow. In a nation where we likely have 100 or more people needing health insurance, one million is kind of small, isn't it. Isn't it 1%, why I believe it is. Beyond that, I can't help you. Now, answer the question, what percentage of the adult population is one million? Most would call it insignificant. Like 99 MILLION have not signed up. Get it now?
You were whining about Cruz walking out when the murdering thug started speaking. That is the fact but you didn't mention it was because the Cuban thug was speaking. You also failed to tell me how many United States Senators attended. Cruz went there out of respect, not to hear a murderer. You would have a slight amount of credibility if you told the entire story.
It is starting to look like you blew that call.
No, I never try to guess these things but a bunch of s&p funds are going to be buying now and that won't hurt a thing. I think your guess is reasonable but who knows. I have dreams of $100 within a year or so but I stress it is only a dream.
You better believe it was a good year. My worry now is what happens when interest rates get back to something normal. I am 72 and really heavy in dividend payers now and when those rates go up I could get into trouble. I'll just wait and see.
Go ahead, list the "greatest thinkers", name them. Come up with some facts, accusing another person you know nothing about of being closed minded is a reflection on you inability to have a logical thought.
The truth is you have no idea what the tea party is, how that movement started or what started it. I know it gets confusing for the liberals since the bright minds of the left were convinced by the White House, it was on their website, that the tea party was an arm of the Republican Party. The same nonsense was posted on the DNC website. Then, the left had to eat that lie when people associated with the movement began taking out Republicans in primary elections. How did the tea party get that name? Who came up with the name? Is there really a tea party? You know nothing about it.
You didn't answer the question. I would have walked out when the murdering Castro thug talked. BTW, I was looking for some information on a mutual fund I own when a pop up appeared. It was from Healcare.Gov. It had a message saying "get insurance now". I am not interested but I thought I would see what they had. I clicked on it and got that little bug that spins around and around a message saying "please wait'. It has been 15 minutes now, what should I do? Anyway, I am still waiting. Why would they put a pop-up on my screen asking me to click for information when the website is FUBAR?
Really? Up 13% since you posted that. 13% in a month isn't really much of a dog.
Well, if you cut that pizza into eight slices you get more slices. Such a deal! I am still trying to figure out which sounds more impressive when talking about stocks at a neighborhood cocktail party. Is it better to blow about owning 500 shares at $100 or 1000 at $50.
My first SS card had "not for identification, for SS purposes only" printed on it.
I am for verifying voters are eligible but no federal id, NEVER.
