Pretty much the same here but I paid $40 on the IPO date. Made four purchases since, in the $25 area never sold any and ahead on all of them. FB saved my donkey today.
Do I really need insurance to pay for a flu shot? I buy insurance to cover bills that would hurt me economically, not for every nickel and dime thing that comes along. Sometimes I get a headache, do I need "free" aspirin?
Actually, the way insurance works is that many people pay premiums while hoping they lose money they paid. Nobody wants to collect on insurance. I have insurance for many things. To pay if I am legally at fault in harming another person, to cover the cost of extensive car repairs and pay medical bills if I have a significant amount. I have had medical insurance for over 50 years and I have lost on that investment and glad I did but your question is totally irrelevant. I paid my bills. I do what I have to do and depend on nobody to pay my way. BTW, what do you think the insurance company does with the money they haven't yet used to satisfy claims? Why, those greedy illegitimate types invest that money and they have a gain or soon go out of business. Guess who gets that money? Why it is those greedy shareholders that accepted the risk for a reward and once they are rewarded, the government takes up to over a third of their gain and none of it costs the government, you and me, a dime. Anyway, my plan is I pay for me and you pay for you. That system used in any kind of trade has enabled me to become rich by world standards while those in socialist countries live in small apartments with refrigerators the size of Coleman coolers. USA USA USA USA!
Every stock I own is underpriced. If I didn't think so, I would sell. It doesn't matter that I think my shares are worth more, it only matters what the market says they are worth. The "wallcons" have treated me fine for over 35 years.
I am long, never short. I always bet pass, never a don't better but in my experience, once somebody starts blowing about the shooter that has made 8 passes in a row and I have the most money on the table, the dealer yells SEVEN OUT! It is far better to keep quiet and press your bet.
Ludicrous! I am still waiting for you to show why Utah Schools, we know Utah is full of right wing nuts, are far superior to Washington D. C. schools where the Dems are in total control.
Don't you mean obtaining medical insurance after getting cancer? Assuming that is what you meant, why not buy medical insurance prior to becoming ill? Sort of like buying life insurance before you die.
You are making an assumption that may or may not be true. Saying "I think" indicates you are aware of that. Concerning the better schools for Democrats, can you explain the difference between Utah public schools and those in Washington D. C.?
Although I am a Republican, an actual member, not simply registered, my plan is I pay for my medical care and you pay for yours. Actually, I am to the right of the general opinion of my fellow republicans.
Yea, it kind of reminds me of those left wing jerks trying to dump Joe Lieberman. It's obvious you are not active in either major political party. You need to attend your neighborhood caucus and learn something.
Show one post by me where I made an assumption about any person's political views? John, what do erroneous assumptions have to do with name calling?
The next presidential election is in 2016. The first precinct caucuses begin in January that year. There has not be a single person that has announced any intent to be a candidate. The same is true with the Dems. The Democrat party has not offered any candidate either. What is your point? I suggest you learn how the political parties operate. They both function in pretty much the same manner.
I have four different positions in this and am ahead on all of them. Way ahead! Tomorrow is another matter but I am doing fine so far.
I tire of people making erroneous assumptions about the political leanings of people that have not expressed a political opinion.
It happens. This thing is something. I have held that thing since the IPO and I am amazed at the number of times FB has taken a dive the same day the entire market is up. On the other hand, today the market is down and FB is up 3%. What is with that? It isn't just a few times.
