  • GMED has more than 3 million short interest

THE GRAND STRATEGY OF STOCK TRADING

THE STOCK TELL YOU THAT IT HAS MADE A BOTTOM OR A TOP BY SACRIFICING A POINT OR SO FOR INSURANCE.

The Most Bullish Looking Chart Patterns

All your buying for maximum profits should be concentrated on stocks having the following types of chart patterns:

    1. Long-term decline followed by a breakout
    2. Flat base breakout
    3. Coming off a double bottom
    4. W Pattern
    5. Growth…………………………………GMED
    6. Cyclical at historic lows………………GMED

This pattern is listed last because it contains the greatest degree of risk, a risk that can only be minimized by an expert judgment of timing factors. If the timing is right, the gains can be very great.

For best results the six key patterns must be geared to the market
Newton would have been fascinated with the stock market as it exists today because he undoubtedly would have enjoyed watching his famous Law of Gravity at work on security prices.

    Bullish Looking Chart Patterns

THE GRAND STRATEGY OF STOCK TRADING

The Most Bullish Looking Chart Patterns

All your buying for maximum profits should be concentrated on stocks having the following types of chart patterns:

    1. Long-term decline followed by a breakout

    5. Growth………………………………..ICLR is now a Growth stock
    6. Cyclical at historic lows

    5. Growth

The growth pattern is characterized by a long continuing advance in the price of the stock with a tendency toward acceleration on the upside in the latter stages of its growth pattern. The astute trader who is only aiming at maximum profits is only going to pay attention to this type of pattern during the later stages of upside acceleration.

    1. Long-term decline followed by a breakout…………….ABB
    2. Flat base breakout
    3. Coming off a double bottom
    4. W Pattern
    5. Growth
    6. Cyclical at historic lows

Let us examine each of these separately:

    1. Long-term decline followed by a breakout
This pattern is mentioned first because it is capable of producing the greatest capital gains. The pattern is exactly as described, a long-term decline (the longer the better) followed by an eventual bullish reversal above a previous declining peak. The stock gains an upside impetus commensurate with the duration and extent o f the previous decline. The theory here is that the stock has been so utterly oversold that upon the first evidence of a turn for the better the stock will advance at a greater rate than it previously declined

Time to buy when everyone feels like you. There are not many longterm holders based on performance. The new buy at these prices are going to buy from very longterm holders. With more than 3.5 million short interest, it will make a life time buying opportunity.

WSJ, Bloomberg, CNBC all will have a big story on ABB. Question is why now?

    Good luck!

  • Stock trading activity makes it a strong new leader for this next up move in the market.

There is very little overhead supply at new high. Consolidation phase is over and this is a good opportunity to add to your portfolio.

There are SEVEN PILLARS OF STOCK MARKET PRACTICE necessary for success.
    1. Determine whether the market is in a "bear" or "bull" trend.
Then determine further whether it is a major, intermediate, or minor trend.
    TRADE WITH THE TREND!

    2. Determine which groups of stocks are the strongest.
TRADE IN STRONG GROUPS FOR ADVANCE! TRADE IN WEAK GROUPS FOR DECLINE!

    3. Select the strongest stocks in these particular groups.
TRADE IN STRONG STOCKS FOR ADVANCE! TRADE IN WEAK STOCKS FOR DECLINE!

    4. BUY ONLY ON REACTIONS-not on advances!
SELL AND SHORT ONLY ON ADVANCES-not on declines!

    5. Place a mental or (if you do not watch the tape) actual stop-loss order of two or three points on your trades.
BE AT ALL TIMES PROTECTED AGAINST POSSIBLE LOSSES!
CLOSE OUT WHEN TRADE GOES AGAINST YOU.

    6. Protect your profits by stop-loss orders. Let your profits grow when you see your stocks advancing.
    HOLD OUT FOR LARGER PROFITS!

    7. Do not hesitate to take your profits; you may be able to re-buy the same stock at lower prices.
SELL WHEN YOU THINK THE MARKET IS DUE FOR A REACTION!
SELL AT THE TOP * * * NOT AT THE BOTTOM
BUY AT THE BOTTOM NOT AT THE TOP

ICLR Stock rallied on HIGH VOLUME and will most likely consolidate at low volume in a trading range above these prices.

  • Please be careful, as trader SMCI does look good, and does not participate in rally, but goes down with the market. Small up tick in the morning and then distribution.

    Have a nice weekend!

I was luck by chance to get out in time. I was following for a good buying at lower price but no more.

    Volume 8600
    be careful

  • Volume has to pick one way or other, and price has to move. It is trend less with no clue as of yet.

If you are investor, it is no need to guess every day what is next?

I am a trader and will like to get back again, iti s a very good stock, if and when Price and Volume gives better trend.

    Good luck!

Forget the market makers, look at the the October 2104 options after the earning.

We could get some consolidation after big run up but by next earning stocks should be higher, based on Institutions and employees buying.

  • We can expect GAP Opening, good clue for the demand after over sold conditions.

    1. In Europe ABB is very strong
    2. In USA yesterday’s volume was highest in a month
    3. Stock has not traded above 23.25 for more than a month

Lately, Market Making New High and ABB down grades, there is not much interest in buying. Now that stock is showing strength, it could lead to an up move of 5 to 10% from much oversold condition, before common public notice the change in trend.

    Good luck!

  • For Traders ONLY….I am a short term trader.
Overhead supply above $26 (the days stock low was 26)

    Date ------- Volume ------- High ------- Low
    22-Jul ------- 6,334 ------- 27.28 ------- 26.21
    30-Jul ------- 2,831 ------- 26.76 ------- 26.12
    5-Aug ------- 5,417 ------- 26.98 ------- 26.22
    Total 14,582 (100) …… Volume …… 14,582 ….. or 1,458,200

    1. We will need 1,458,600 shares traded above $26, to say there is no overhead supply.
    2. If the stock trades above $26 and the volume is above 1,458,600, stock will have a gap opening and may move 2 % to 5% above pervious day to make a top, consolidation top
    3. This all is valid if there is no external news.
    4. Low volume below average daily is considered consolidation
    5. High volume up but closing down is considered reversal for trades to bailout.

Best…….2, 3, or 4 days for the past, more than one year or when stock was around 10.16 June 3, 2013. That was my first trade.

    Sno ------- 2 days ------- 3 days ------- 4 days
    1 ------- 1.44 ------- 2.38 ------- 2.73
    2 ------- 1.56 ------- 2.48 ------- 2.80
    3 ------- 1.81 ------- 2.54 ------- 2.81
    4 ------- 2.01 ------- 2.55 ------- 2.81
    5 ------- 2.03 ------- 2.92 ------- 3.00
    6 ------- 2.79 ------- 2.93 ------- 3.02
    7 ------- 3.22 ------- 2.98 ------- 3.67
    8 ------- 3.48 ------- 4.02 ------- 3.99
    9 ------- 5.01 ------- 4.98 ------- 5.67

If you are not a trader please ignore this message and enjoy your long-term investments. While big mutual funds may lighten SMCI, new ones take position based on their research. (NADAQ site is helpful for new and old institution position)
