The Most Bullish Looking Chart Patterns

    1. Long-term decline followed by a breakout........ALU..... Volume on Friday, April 10, 2015
    2. Flat base breakout
    3. Coming off a double bottom
    4. W Pattern
    5. Growth
    6. Cyclical at historic lows

Let us examine each of these separately:

    1. Long-term decline followed by a breakout
This pattern is mentioned first because it is capable of producing the greatest capital gains. The pattern is exactly as described, a long-term decline (the longer the better) followed by an eventual bullish reversal above a previous declining peak. The stock gains an upside impetus commensurate with the duration and extent o f the previous decline. The theory here is that the stock has been so utterly oversold that upon the first evidence of a turn for the better the stock will advance at a greater rate than it previously declined.

Let me add more gains of 100% to 500% and better over short period are possible with this type of charts.

Technically highest volume 25,249,054 in 90 days, and ALU up more than 4.39% on Friday, April 10, 2015 is very bullish.

Rule1. Forget the news, remember the chart. You're not smart enough to know how news will affect price. The chart already knows the news is coming.

    Disney’s Next Act
From theme parks and cruises to merchandise sales, Disney is a wizard at wringing profits from its hit films -- and gains from its stock.

    May 30, 2015
Shares of Walt Disney trade at a premium price, and its latest big-budget film, Tomorrowland, already looks like yesterday’s news, thanks to lean box-office receipts over Memorial Day weekend. A write-down looks possible. But it’s a good time to buy Disney’s stock just the same. Nearly two years ago, The Lone Ranger cost more and opened worse, and the shares have since galloped more than 75% higher, to $110.37.

Please Google search, Disney's Next ACT.

  • Investors who buy shares of Pfizer today may find themselves owing as many as three separate companies by 2017. However that turnout, the diagnosis looks healthy. A sum of the parts analysis suggests that the break up would unlock value for shareholders.

Pfizer may have laid the groundwork for eventual split-u- last year, when it started disclosing financial for three internal businesses. The security and exchange commission requires three years of disclosures before the company can spin off various units. Jefferies analyst Jeff Holford values the generics business at over $16 a share. He sees vaccines and braded-drug business fetching $17.91 and $10.30, respectively. This implies a value of $44.21, more than 26% above the $35 Pfizer shares now fetch. The stock yields a juicy 3.2%.

  • Please use BigCharts and see one year chart.

The chart you are seeing is Cup and the Handle has just begun.

In the Cup formation, the left side represent the supply exceed demand at higher price, and stock continues to decline due to distribution. At the bottom demand and supply is in equilibrium. Now the last of the sellers is out, the demand for stock exceeds supply at the lower price and stock moves higher. Next is the right side of the cup, which it just completed.

Technical chart watcher, now find a golden opportunity to get in this stock, which is under accumulation since making bottom.

I am trader and not an investor and I bought ALU on Friday, April 10, 2015.

We can expect about 20% to 25% move by October 12, 2015, Columbus Day.

Now it is your turn to discover buying opportunity. Please do not expect a quick up move. ALU has lot of shares and same goes with the over head supply.

  • Most of you are waiting for Next Earnings Date: 30-Apr-15, and then GILD making a big move to new high. You can tell from trading and volume in the coming week. Please evaluate why you are not getting the right signals.

On Strong day like Friday, April 10, 2015, NASDAQ had nearly 2871 issues traded and 132 made new high or only 4.6%. What is the probability of GILD making new high, it is nearly zero.

GILD is a blue chip and could be for some, long-term good and wise investment.
Chinese market was up more than 9% last week. Asia starts strong, Japan above 20,000 and then Europe follows, but US markets are not in the world leadership, like US dollar.
Now here is Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) -NYSE at 4.04 Up 0.17(4.39%) on April 10, 2015. Stock has no earning and a few billion shares. We are now getting into speculative phase of the market, where blue chips rest and money moves to speculative stocks.

Kindly forget the fundamentals, but observe stock performance and think of technical, chart and volume.

The California entertainment giant on Tuesday said it held a ceremony to crown the tallest of eight towers on the Enchanted Storybook Castle, which will serve as the centerpiece of Shanghai Disney Resort. On Wednesday, the company intends to open its largest Disney Store in Shanghai’s downtown financial district.

The topping ceremony to affix a golden “finial” in the shape of a Chinese peony flower atop the castle, Disney said in a statement, “marks a significant construction milestone in the resort’s development and a major step forward towards the opening of the resort, scheduled for the spring of 2016.”

The finial is in the shape of a Chinese peony flower. Courtesy of Walt Disney Co.
The event was attended by Disney Chairman and Chief Executive Bob Igerand his possible heir, Chief Operating Officer Tom Staggs, the statement said.

Disney conceded earlier this year that the $5.5 billion park, which has faced construction-related delays, would not open around the end of this year as initially forecast. Photos distributed by Disney on Tuesday show the castle clad in scaffolding at the center of a vast construction site near Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport that has been cleared for the theme park.

Disney and its partner, the Shanghai government, have been working on a deal to build a park since the 1990s. The most recent delay was announced weeks after a deadly stampede along Shanghai’s Bund on New Year’s Eve, which has made local officials skittish about places where large crowds could gather. But other factors contributed as well, say people involved in the project.

Mr. Iger this month told investors that the Shanghai park’s grand opening was “just about a year away. We’ve been very selective about sharing specifics so far, but this summer, we’ll unveil a number of details that will give everyone a true sense of how spectacular this authentically Disney, distinctly Chinese destination will be.”

Disney’s Hong Kong park threw open its doors in September 2005, one year and a week after the topping of its castle.

Chinese Disney enthusiasts unwilling to wait for the park to open will this week get a new opportunity to stock up on memorabilia at the company’s newDisney Store, a sprawling outlet located in Shanghai’s financial district. In a press release issued almost two years ago, Disney described the shop as its biggest in the world. Ph
