It seems that HZNP covers all 3 above. It is expected to have a good Q3 and FA drug development is on schedule and also indicated that some M&A before year end.
Adding to above is HZNP low valuation at current prices.
The company is screaming for buy at these low prices. Those who are looking for better prices may miss but averaging is a sure way to get the best prices.
It seems that hedge funds and their drummer, Cramer, have not done with the sector and they need to milk it a little more. They are still pushing the same issue that will not be solved in years if any change at all.
Since when they have become consumer advocate and care about people instead of their pocket?
It seems that this is a socialist country and wealth is distributed equally except for a few companies in the health care who they want to take advantage of some insurance companies.
Why not go after CEOs and top management of most or all companies who get paid 100 to 1000 time more than regular employees even though they accomplish less.
Unfortunately they pushing a wrong button, the one is defined capitalism and they are rich based on the same concept.
If you believe in HZNP management, this is your chance to buy and hold.
At very minimum, $20 will be reached, probably before the year end. It may go above $20 if the market relax.
Anyway, if all analysts are pointing to $37 and higher then $30 is a good opportunity but this only $16 and change. You may never see these prices again.
With current DEPO prices, new funds are accumulating and they will vote for the deal.
If deal go thru, there will be a lot of saving. HZNP can pay down DEPO debt and save about $60m of interest payment per quarter.
If a drug is the only solution to a disease and if its priced hiked unreasonably then it should be controlled. For most or all of drugs that HZNP has and prices were increased there are alternative. Since there are alternative then the free market should take of it without any control.
I think, HZNP is not VRX but investors are reacting the same way. That is why, the current prices are a rare opportunity to buy and get a good gain in future.
They are going after the head first, and later probably smaller companies like HZNP.
GILD is just piling the money.
When they sell, somehow HZNP follows them.
Todays volatility come from the sector.
I am amazed that HZNP is holding much stronger than other stocks in the sector today. One reason is that HZNP price has dropped too much and it is at bargain now. When the sector goes normal then HZNP will be front runner.
Any attempt in free market will fail. Hillary is seeking attention and there are a lot of IFs with her election and then passing any law that change free market.
Free market forced Turing to lower its drug price and soon it will be some competition for that drug since this is an old drug and patents already expired.
$33 was not cash price but based on HZNP price. They get the same deal but end up having a stronger company. With HZNP, the growth is higher and $33 can be achieved again.
Turing is opportunistic profit seeker while HZNP develops and improve drugs that help patients.
As long as drug prices are reasonable then there should not be a problem but Turing price hike was not fair and reasonable.
There must be something for this sell off besides Hillary comments that has a lot of IFs. I think, some of HZNP investors switched to DEPO so they can vote in favor of acquisition. They will get their HZNP shares after acquisition. The action has pushed HZNP shares down. DEPO and HZNP shares are tied together and move together since the deal will go thru.
When enough shares of DEPO are purchased then things goes normal and both DEPO and HZNP shares will gain. HZNP shares are preferred over DEPO since DEPO shares are going at purchase price. If the deal does not go thru then DEPO will lose the most while HZNP shares will gain especially if HZNP acquires other drugs or companies.
Just my 2 cents.
