    Better late Than Never...

What concerns me is what RRC and the other producers will do if the the idiot PA pols pass a 5% severance tax on top of the impact fee and income taxes. Hopefully, the economics of the play will keep them there growing production and feeding MWE's PA assets even if that happens.

    EPD buys Oiltanking

Wait until oil export restrictions get lifted. EPD will be huge player. These guys are very strategic thinkers and lead all midstream in all NGL export categories: global LPG export leader, only US PGP exporter, huge lead in Ethane export contracts, will be a leader in refined products exports. Combine that with unmatched connectivity to refiners and ethane crackers and you have a MLP which will be surprising on the upside in the years ahead. What these guys are doing should excite anyone with a stake in US oil and gas.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    What is going on

I wonder if we'll see this roll-up repeated with the Energy Transfer group in the not-too-distant future? Same complex structure, basic high splits IDR cost-of-capital issue at ETP, etc. I suspect a lot of MLPs are going to be re-evaluating their competitive position after this.

Good Luck To All The Market Timers-----

Bought more last week fortunately and sold some more puts. Absent another broad MLP sell-off, I think the 60's are likely gone. Probably overdone today though on Barron's/KM.

    Earnings Report Out

I think you might regret selling but not for another year or so. I believe MWE is going to be a great growth story but it won't pay off big until the NGLs market tightens up and prices rise significantly. Looking ahead out to'16-'17 there is huge petchem demand coming online. Considering the large domestic ethylene cracker expansions/newbuilds, EPD's, SXLs, NGLSs ethane exports to foreign crackers, new propane dehydrogenation propylene plants(ie EPD) and burgeoning propane exports, I think MWE's assets will be running flat out and cranking out DCF resulting in mid-teens distribution growth with great coverage. They've made a big bet on the Marcellus/Utica but the economics for producers there are as good or better than anywhere and Markwest will reap the benefits.

Can't wait, bring on the fire. A repeat of 2008 would be too much to hope for. I'd be happy with the 40s and I'd still have a double.

I think you've definitely got the right take on the CC. EPD mgt is the most innovative of all midstream MLPs and it's smart not to give away your strategy. On the unit price, however, the drop is timely and I'm hoping it stays weak a few more days to get a low reinvestment price.
