Just remember Rolls Royce filed for bankruptcy in the 70's and the stock went to 2 cents. Those who bought came out smelling like rose or should I say a Rolls. The Shack may be in a crowded field, but it has superior locations that would be difficult to duplicate. Just remember, of the 1,100 stores that are being eliminated, they were in small markets or economically challenged areas in the Midwest. Most of the remaining stores are in viable location that are either breaking even or showing better year-over-year margins.
I suspect Comcast is intentionally overcharging existing customers to help pay for the Time-Warner deal. On my last bill I got jacked an extra $30 for premium channels I never ask for. My neighbor who signed up for a $99 bundled service contract good for a year got charged $20 extra for suspension of introductory prices after only six months. Any error Comcast makes is always in their favor - - they do not make honest mistakes.
