It is a travesty that WS is doing what it is today to SWA. This airline has almost an 85%, EIGHTY FIVE PER CENT, load factor. They are leaving paying customers at the gate because of the lack of seats. A fare sale shut down ATT last week. DAL is now out from under the Wright Amendment. That's LOVE Field to those from bum f--- land. I fly SW a lot of the time and American also. The terminals of both are crammed with customers. Every time a CEO pulls back from expansions, the year after, they say we should have bought those jets because now we really need them. Too late now mr kelly...How are you going to add fifty cities South of the border with no expansion?

I went out to West Texas last week, Midland to be exact. I can tell you for sure that I saw with my own eyes dozens of drilling rigs between Midland and Odessa stacked in a row. I asked around town what was happening in the oil field. They all say it is slowing down a bit. One driller told me it is just a bump in the road and he will be back on a rig in about two months. It is simply that drilling will not be profitable until oil is back in the $65 dollar range. But the amount of oil in the supply will fall quickly and the price of crude will be back in the high $60's by July. It takes time but for sure, crude is going up in the very near future. I would not dump my equity here. Besides CRZO is rumored to be in a drilling venture with COP and may be a takeover target.

CRZO is RIPE for a take over

Oil up today along with CRZO. Rumors run that CRZO is a buyout target. Farm-out here a few and it is expected that they will be in a farm-out with COP. I would not be surprised that COP is looking at this company to acquire for the acreage. I am long here and and know the value of CRZO and it is way above the current price. CRUDE is on its way up with the summer season.

As predicted CRZO is down over 4% while the majority of oil companies are down maybe 2%. Don't dump your equity here. Hang on and see your investment grow by 20%. The Street has it at $65.00.

It never seems to amaze me that GS will cover a stock for a new target, attempt to drive it low and have its
top clients pick it up and make 20%. CRZO is down in earnings for the first quarter because crude and gas
dropped like a rock last year... Is it not a surprise that earnings for the first quarter would be below all of last year. It is still exploring for new properties and has billions of dollars in proven reserves yet to be tapped. I can not see less than a $60.00 target for this company by the summer.

I don't think anyone has even considered the potential interest in those assets of WLL, in the West Texas region by CVX. Concho has deep pockets and a huge interest there currently. Tim and the boys there in Midland are watching this thing closely. Exxon is not the only suitors along with COP looking at this deal..

Southwest is the Runt of the Litter

Hey brain LESS, I made over two million on this runt of the litter as you call it last year. I will take the runt anytime I get returns like this. Oh yeah, I bought a TBM 700 last year buying those runts. I haven't even exercised my investment here as of yet. LUV may go to $55 this spring! I am going to buy a lot of jet fuel in the coming years and be spending time on the Champs de Elysse drinking cotes du rhone and will not be thinking of you, EVER. Now go away and soak your head.

Am taking a bath here today. Ouch. However, when you have projected earnings of over $5 dollars a share for 2015, double the current year the stock should perform to at least a thirty per cent rise on just that news alone. This is a good little company and is growing despite the stock price currently. We just need earnings to be posted for the 4th quarter to clear the air. I personally think it is being manipulated heavily by the market makers in NY and you can watch it being done early in the day with the upticks and in the afternoon. Not an expert but I would hold on and not jump ship.

I meet people all the time that say they are going to fly SWA because they don't charge for bags. However, they do charge for the second bag. So the bags fly free thing get a whole lot more flyers at the normal fare than charging for some silly bag. I think it is a brilliant marketing plan.

In my fifty years of investing I sometimes see companies that have the ability to show robust growth and that is why I am heavily invested here in VA. Two years ago I would have stayed on the sidelines with airline stocks. However, with the falling of oil prices, jet fuel to you and me, I am extremely long here in VA. LUV,AAL, and yes now VIRGIN. For over a decade airlines have been sucking wind, but now they are making buckets of cash. I only see a strong holiday season and a very good spring. If you have the balls to hang on to VA, it could hit fifty by then. Just look at Allegiant. From two dollars to over $135/share in ten years. VA may, if the play their cards right, may get some of that momentum. Besides Branson always comes out on top. JMHO...

Okay I just dumped 30000 shares and it made me sick to do it. But Eboli is going to carry all the airlines down for weeks to come until they realize it was Chicken little and the sky was not falling. If it, when it hits $22 I will jump back in there and ride the wave. The terminals are still packed. I flew three times this week.

This carrier has been doing a lot of good things lately. I could see $50 a share by the spring or more if things stay on track. DAL is one I own a lot of too and it is down???? A billions dollars in bag fees should put it back up. A bag fee for LUV would put it at $55 as predicted if they make that move.

SWA is preparing for the end of the Wright Amendment. Do you think Amarillo could justify a non stop to Denver without passengers from Dallas riding through? I know you are an airline employee because you know too much about this industry so why post this?

I hate to disagree with you, but I will. I have never had a bad flight on SWA. In fact SWA is the only airline that I will fly because the other carriers don't really care if I am a customer or not. And I don't have to take out a mortgage on my house to go somewhere.

  • cavu2020 by cavu2020 Jul 16, 2014 12:57 PM Flag

Hey, where are are the downers that said LUV was going to$10.00 and you'd better sell while you can get your money out. Where is the guy that said "shut down this pig"? Approaching $28 bucks and maybe $30 or better by October. Made seven figures here over five years for just doing my homework. So "downers" go home and I will fly over your house in my TBM-700. LOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish I had a toilet dump..

Well this week marked a milestone for LUV, and the loads showed a truly remarkable high load factor. This is the start of something great for this company. Only about ten years late to the show. The merger or buyout of ALK in my opinion would be a disaster. Alaska will stand on its own or be sucked up by DAL for it to continue its control of the northwest. The buyout of Hawaiian Airlines would be a much more desirable and workable situation for SWA. You kill two birds with one stone and get into the Asian market automatically with big A-330's. The market cap for HAL is poised for a buy. JMHO...Happy 4th!

  • cavu2020 by cavu2020 Jun 13, 2014 3:37 PM Flag

Is LUV planning on buying HA? IT appears that SWA waited too long to get in on the Hawaii routes and let ALK and ALGT get ahead of the game. HA might just be what the doctor ordered for LUV. They would get routes, gates, and A330 jets and fill the bill for long haul from many mainland destinations. Just a thought....
