I have been in since $26. I have done some trading but have kept a certain number invested since $26. Michael
They must look for guys that will say most anything and put them on the air.
Yes, I plan to get the heck out of this trade if it rises next week. What happens to me is that I make really good buys normally, but I decide to hold after making a nice profit when I should sell some of it. I end up fully invested. That works well in some markets but not this one.
I bought some CELG also--at 3:57pm, but I had to sell something else so it was not a win/win. I plan to work towards trading with some of mine and holding some cash.
It looks like you are talking about the July 15th gap from 122.86 to 131.39. I have never looked at gaps before, but I understand. I assume that the larger the gap, the more likely it is to fill and probably the quicker it could be expected to fill---just some educated guessing on my part.
I thought for sure that I was going to open this message and simply see the word "Sucks" lol (Since we are down for no good reason.)
I have looked very little at FB since the IPO, but on yahoo, I see $2.67 as projected next year earnings for FB. The valuation seems pretty high even considering decent growth. I just assume that the growth rate is believed to be quite high? Is that true, Ed?
CELG ran up very fast and is dropping very fast it seems--just an observation right now. I wonder if it might drop right thru $128 and reach the $125 or $124 level you have noted.
CELG could be in the mid to low 20's soon with the drops it is having. I plan to just watch til it seems to settle at some point before considering getting back in since it is dropping so fast. How do you feel about it now?
An investor that buys individual stocks has to have it in his/her personality/confidence to take some hits and stay put if the story is intact. We sometimes let our emotions get the best of us I suppose.............?
That makes me feel better. I have not sold any of my SWKS, and it sure is good to see better results for a day--hopefully!
