First things first - EBIX has not confirmed that they won the London PPL tender. But if true, this could take EBIX past $30 very soon.
Why? Back in October of last year, Accenture announced that they had been picked to manage the process of picking the winner of the tender! Not to do the actual work but to pick the company that does the work!!
Wow - that indicates that this PPL tender is one of the transformational deals that Robin Raina was talking about.
Even if it is not, this deal (if true) indicates that the "air has cleared" after the IRS audit resolution and the settling of the shareholder lawsuit..
doctor.stockpicker - Thank you for posting your experiences. I find your postings to be informative, thoughtful and useful. Do I have your permission to re-post some of your post in Mannkind Central (a login based message board that I am part of?
dtrouble1003 - I really like you honest and transparent posts. I am long MNKD as well. I have a confession to make. I re-posted your posts on Mannkind Central. I should have asked for your permission first. My apologies and please let me know if I should remove them from that board.
a_gasparyan - Fidelity is reporting 0% shares available to short. How are you going to short? Unless you are a market maker you will not be able to.Another thing - Fidelity is now paying me 12% for my borrowed shares. They are charging retail shorters like you more than 12%. Assuming you are able to short, you are going to short at $7 and pay 15% or more interest while waiting for the shares to drop. And drop to what level?
brian12372 - thanks for your post. If I understand you correctly, your PCP was able to prescribe Afrezza for you. He did not refer you to an endocrinologist. Also- he did ask you to take a spirometry test. That part is surprising. I though all new patients have to take the spiro for lung function. How can your doc "know" that ypur lungs are okay?
