That's what happens when =you have a lazy person for a broker. They just tell you is easiest for them and/or makes them the most money. Find another broker at Edward Jones or somewhere else that can sell it. By the way there were no fractional shares issued so they came from somewhere else or you're confused.
What really happened is by holding the VZ stock, you accepted a dividend payment and then purchased VZ stock. Since you get a stepped up basis in the VZ stock, you can sell it with no taxes due. It's like you got a cash divy from VOD and then bought VZ. So just sell VZ if you don't want it and stop complaining.
because of the way Vodafone handled it, it was taxable. Since Vodapfone is a UK company they were not overly concerned about US investors tax implications.
Should be easy for stockholders to remember.
Having to play Wichita State in the NCAA. They can escape that fate in the regular season but if the bracket is right they have two choices. 1. play WSU 2. forfeit the game. Does anyone know for sure if they won't just forfeit rather than face the Shockers?
It's easy to recruit big name high schoolers at KU but Self doesn't put together a team the way Marshall does! No royals at Wichita State, just people that are winners!
I see we have a trend here. True Gold!!!!!!!
Not much risk on the downside and morons will buy this and push it up a little bit. I'll sell to the bagholders in a few weeks or months. Stupid people that buy this stock will in the end get their heads handed to them. Doesn't mean you can't buy and quickly sell it every once in a while.
why all the love? Simple. There are some dumbos that post here. Best example is the coward man aka about a hundred different id's.
with a handle like ponylovejones you don't have a lot of creditability. However since you love ponies you'd fit in well at capfed, I am sure and that's not a compliment.
I have long told people to avoid this stock. I have not been bearish enough. You should of sold it short and used the proceeds to buy an S&P index fund. Sorry about being too bullish on this stock. I continue to advise avoiding it. I don't recommend shorting it, just avoid it.
Wow, the market was up big time today. This poorly managed bank dropped. I guess that's not a big surprise.
yeah and it's been that way every since current management took over which I why I sold everyone to sell 10 years ago BEFORE the collapse in it's stock price. There is No hope as long as current management remains.
