The process of selling GE Capital been more cumbersome than expected, that's part of the reason for today's selling.
A big mouth and money, could be enough to win the Republican nomination. Is it enough to beat Ms. Clinton and her husband, what's his name again?
Unfortunately, Donald has charisma and Jeb Bush is another Bush. One of the other Republican candidates need to step up or else Donald will get the nomination.
Agreed. Out of a couple hundred million people, we can't find a suitable president. Hmmmm...actually there are qualified people out there...but they're not dumb enough to take the job.
Their Debt is Higher...the chances of repayment are even lower.
If GE Capital is going to avoid the higher capital requirements then they need to divest faster. That will pose a problem because potential buyers will know GE may be in the midst of a fire sale and offer less.
Doesn't mean much, Bush Jr. got into Yale as a legacy admit i.e. special admissions for the rich.
Trump would have never gotten into Annapolis. My real concern is whether Jeb B. will become president. Bush Jr. was a dummy, who knows the younger brother may be dumber.
Don't remember...however, we're more likely to drop a point in a day than go up a point in a day. Just look at the trading during the last hour. GE dropped a quarter of a point.
You mean he forgot to mention Donald was crazy? Donald will turn Wall St. into a casino....darn I forgot, it already is one.
GE beats and we're up .66 per cent. Hmmmm....doesn't look like shorts are in a hurry to cover. Volume slightly above average for a Friday. Longs also don't look like their in a hurry to buy.
I would be more than happy to give the unemployed my job, I'll live off of social-security and Obamacare in Hawaii...with the hula girls.
At this juncture, I don't think about the price of GE, it's better to wait if the Alstom deal goes through in a timely manner. If it doesn't, then it would be time to buy.
Right now, GE price is acting like it's 99% sure the deal is going through.
I don't think so. For the last 6 months or so GE has been bragging that they are in the midst of being more competitive in their niche. This Alstom deal is an important cog in the turnaround and needs to go through...otherwise people are going to be very upset at Jeff Immelt who promised results. Besides GE has been selling GE Financial units off left and right, they have more than enough money to make Alstom profitable in the near future.
