...inside information has leaked and goods news is around the corner.
Come on guys...how difficult could the decision be? MM is looking at this situation and saying to herself...should YHOO pay more taxes and have everybody yelling at me or should YHOO pay less taxes and I would be a hero. It's a no-brainer. Give MM some credit for common sense.
I've got a lot of respect for Soros, nice to have him on the side of longs. All the signs point to something major occurring soon. Although it's always smart to take some profits, make the market-makers pay dearly for your shares and buy back during lulls in trading.
The BABA IPO was known approximately one year in advance, the only thing that wasn't known was the exact date of the IPO until 2-3 months before IPO. So the value of the IPO was already "priced-into" the shares of YHOO by the time IPO occurred.
Sell some of the Jan 17 calls, and sell some calls at a 50 strike in the same month. There you have it, a bull call spread and money in your pocket.
It seems like only you and Cramer think that MM has done a good job. Personally, as a CEO she has done a good job. It's just difficult to take a CEO that looks like a high school cheerleader seriously.
...I can't help it, BABA is simply a great stock symbol. By the way, BABA has come back from a weak open. This can only mean that some good news is around the corner involving both YHOO and BABA.
Sell covered calls...but from your comment, I'm pretty sure you're a newbie. Before you buy, you need to have a good idea of the price you would be willing to exit at. Like bee says, each of us has our own little hidden agenda, so it's doubtful that you would get reliable advice.
I'll take that back, Jack Ma isn't merely a marketing guy. He's a great marketing guy, if he's able to make even one person think that he's on par with Steve Jobs, then that's a great accomplishment.
Holy cow...wait till the young adults in the U.S. catch the fever...could be a major holiday here in U.S.A.
Jack Ma is no Steve Jobs. Steve was an innovator and inventor. Jack Ma is merely a marketing guy.
