  • Purpose of this post is not to hype (couldnt care less), but to make a marker for myself to reflect back on how long it took.

Anyone doing the lightest amount of DD will learn of the results the treatment has had on people, it works and can work DRAMATICALLY on certain individuals (check the youtube video on the Rabbi).

Biggest concern had been the length of improvement. I had feared that the treatment lasted a month and would require monthly visits. Today's news indicates results can be 6 months.

CUR, it's biggest competition has a much more serious surgical component that requires a costly IP stay (I am long CUR as well). This surgical aspect is of some concern with the FDA but not BCLI.

BCLI float is ridiculously small. The volatility will get ridiculous as we approach commercialization, expect $3 daily moves.

CEO Fiorino is very connected to "the boys" who can move the stock to $20, easily.

CEO Fiorino has already given a commitment for commercialization by 2017.

Yesterday had a retest of a major Trendline Breakout, all systems are a go (high 12/31, 4/20, why again today, no idea).

We have begun an upper channel move.

    Just sharing some thoughts.....

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • I was not aware of this time period. I had expected that patients would be be coming in for an office visit every 3 months for an Outpatient injection. Unlike CUR that requires an Inpatient stay. If this minor procedure can be done every six months, then we have made huge progress in terms of a viable treatment, Starting to get excited about about BCLI again.

  • Over extended on a lot of indicators. Waiting now for some strength in the last 5 minutes to start jumping in, especially with divergence from IBB.

  • break out above $4.70 next week, would set the easy money move to $5.20 area.

  • such a lack of knowledge of this stock on this board. Based on CYTK's numbers , BCLI should be trading near $50.

  • Been in this pullback channel, upper range is approaching recent resistance. I think a move above $3.10 with volume should get us back to the $4 area, IMHO. My alerts are waiting for $3.10 to fall.

  • Very positive news, regardless of the market. A great stock to own. I've been in Jazz and I'm hoping to see this stock blow JAZZ's stock price appreciation out of the sky.

Makes people smarter but it also has a side effect, seems to grow hair on people's heads.

Hope I'm wrong regarding this reverse split (I usually sell a stock when I'm in "hope" mode.). I had a personal target of $1.50 for BCLI over the next couple of years let's see if $22 now happens. This target is based on the market cap of CUR and the loss of value by CYTK.

I agree, CUR seems to have more potential with a very exciting pipeline. But I think BCLI will get FDA approval first based on safety, but who knows, both are very interesting companies. In any case, BCLI is selling at a fraction to CUR prior to any news. The question is who will win the price race, BCLI hitting $1.20 or CUR hitting $15? I have positions in both.

The results start wearing off after a few months but the improvement is dramatic and the patients respond faster with each injection. Check the graphs from their recent presentation. My nephew takes a needle DAILY for growth hormone injections. A periodic OP clinic visit every 6 months for an injection may be in the cards for this type of treatment. BCLI does not require an IP over night encounter like CUR. Both have hopeful processes and I wish both companies luck and success with finding a cure.

Both are winners. BCLI will probably get FDA approval first, since its perceived as a safer treatment (using the patients own bone marrow). Big plus is that BCLI is selling at 1/5 the market cap of CUR's current undervalued price. Bottom line both have fantastic stock growth opportunities.

  • Apparently, some people on this board expect a reverse stock split to help entice funds to take positions in BCLI, the goal being an increase in the stock price, a good thing. Besides in actuality, if you take a historical look at these scenarios, unless the stock has earning behind it, the price will continue to degrade. (Please point out to me cases to the contrary.) Now more importantly, look at the dynamics of the market. We know that now a days large blocks of stock are arranged purchases with the specialist or MM, or more commonly done in dark pools. We see this all the time that large dark pool purchases are made for stocks that join an index and there is HUGE volume but often little movement in the stock price. CUR recently had a large increase in fund purchases, over 10 million new positions and the stock price actually went down. Let the news develop and have the LARGER small investors and funds, who don't use these mechanisms drive up the stock price. It will happen.

Bottom line, either BCLI has a winning treatment, if so, the stock price will climb dramatically. A ton of smaller funds will take positions. If the treatment is "so so", then let the company do a reverse stock split for insiders, but at a much latter stage like closer to commercialization. I wonder if Lebovits has faith in this company, he needs some emunah based on this reverse stock split talk. All IMHO. GL longs!

  • BCLI shadows the movements of CUR over the past 6 months. CUR bottomed in July and began a nice move in August. I would expect the same action to occur now in BCLI for September.

What a PR opportunity of CUR

A very fertile environment for a stock. I hope CUR can show some real tangible positive results to the public from recent trials, sure to get a bigger reaction now. We need to get above $3.80 on this stock before I get my warm and fuzzy felling again.

This ice bucket phenomenon is like the drum roll for a major announcement, people are looking for positive developments. I hope CUR is preparing to get some news out through broad channels, and I hope they are 'lobbying' the FDA to speed up the process. I have seen some fast track status drugs move like a snail to commerilization.

Are you for real, apparently you have not seen some of their results on youtube or read any of the letters written by test subjects praising the company, inspired by the promising results. I guess Massachusetts General Hospital, and the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital in Worcester, or Mayo, where stage 2 testing is going on, seems to differ on their views from yours on the treatment.

A number of "scientists" on this board of have been skeptical of the science of BCLI, and yet they seem to be having some dramatic results. Youtube it. To quote Richard Feynman "It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn't matter how smart you are. If it doesn't agree with the experiment, it's wrong."

Long in both CUR and BCLI.

Please stop the nonsense, BLCI also has a very significant treatment that is ahead of the race with CUR. CUR has a broader pipeline, but BCLI will probably cross the finish line first. It s also not a cure but a significant breakthrough treatment. Please just post the facts to not mislead individuals doing some DD. All treatments are very much welcomed. BCLI and CUR should both do very well. BCLI, just happens to trade at an outrageously low price to its treatment, and CUR happens to have some very interesting drugs in the pipeline.
