Hey, I said "consider" not bet the ranch on AGIO. I got in on the ALXN IPO, have a cost basis of 52 cents in CELG and a large position in REGN. Love them all... but think AGIO could have merit as well.

Don't beat up on the company. Every firm in this sector is going down despite good current earnings and dividends. The problem is the large number of expensive rigs to be delivered in the next 18 months. There is not enough interest among the oil companies to keep all current and new-build rigs occupied. Day rates are falling and will fall further when the new-builds hit the market. Many of the older rigs will be taken out of service for years, if not permanently. I owned ESV for several years but bailed a couple of months ago when I realized the hopelessness of the situation going forward. Book value and other metrics have limited applicability when asset values are written off!

Clearly you know garbage when you see it. Care to make a bet that the ESV dividend is not cut in 2015 or 2016?
