Like I said -- $8.70 or higher by Thanksgiving.
Your posts tend toward pessimism. This is not 2009.
Vote Democratic if you want a strong US Economy.
FDA has 6 months to review the NDA.
Although we can expect approval, the government shutdown will delay the FDA response to this NDA.
"will never see anything close to that"
AA hit $8.70 on September 19, just three weeks ago.
If the overall market goes up, AA will rise also.
I agree that the valuation is questionable, but AA is doing well and management seems to be moving into more profitable fabrication business activities.
Today, up a bit on low volume--not very bullish.
Worse: Seeking Alpha article today claims guns sales have peaked.
Another down day coming tomorrow?
Seeking Alpha article claims gun sales have peaked, especially for SWHC due to foreign competition.
SWHC should have a PE closer to 12 and a stock price closer to $15.
If not for the weak guidance for the current quarter, due to the one-time production stoppage arising from the SAP manufacturing execution system implementation, SWHC would probably be $15 today.
I agree--do not sell at this level. Buy more as the fundamentals look strong.
SWHC has much stronger fundamentals than TASER.
SWHC has a PE of 8. TASER has a PE of 40 and weaker sales and profit growth.
Stock Market Illogic.
Because sales and profits only supported a stock price of $7-$10. Seems to me that perhaps sales and profits are permanently much higher. Unfortunately, investors are not so convinced, and the guidance for next quarter suggest that sales and profits may decline to the "old norms". Time will tell.
The reduce number of production days due to the SAP manufacturing execution system implementation this summer is the cause of the weak guidance for this quarter. Plan those missed sales to be additive to next quarter. SWHC will be back to over $12 by Christmas--IMHO.
SWHC undervalued. The stock price would be closer to $15 if the guidance for next quarter was better explained as the dip in sales and profits due to the one-time production drop caused by the SAP manufacturing execution system implementation.
