yeah but he is the CEO. that has to be a planned 503B (some number like that) on a regular basis. He can't buy on material information. It's a violation. So don't take his buy as anything big in the short term. It just shows us confidence that good things will turn out.
yeah, I agree. Even as an insider in my company, I didn't have inside information (man they kept that tight) and warned of termination for any news whatsoever. I was too low in the food chain to get info. the only time we knew a deal was done or some new compound "hit" some good model was they threw a party and ordered stuff or a limo was parked outside.
the only way we see double digits Monday is a buyout or the pancreatic cancer drug with positive trial news. If they have some, this will rock a double to triple by 930am. What was that drug company ONYX I think or maybe not, that came out with a breast cancer drug. It was 30 and hit 80-100 in premarket that day the news hit. Been a long time for that one so my numbers are a little foggy.
Thanks for your comments. I'm trying to figure this out. I just don't see the move from 6.8 to close on little news. The volume was strong too. The question is what and when and how will the stock react. I need my money back and averaged down more just now in AH's. I was going to buy a bunch at 6.70 but didn't today. So now I pay AH's prices but at least I feel good news is coming.
I'm at 20 in one acct and 9's in another. I had 10K shares (not money) in GILD at 30 and sold at 32 or so. That was before it's split too. ugh
well, you make a good point. My company that went BK, nobody and I mean nobody bought shares as insiders. All sales were options cashing in on the market rise. Not a one share was bought by any mgt (execs). Goes to show what they really knew and just dumped and dumped. they made millions on those sales. The top 10 people made millions each. Pretty sad.
she has money to burn?
I hope not but ever since they hired that BD person (business dev), it went from 8.75 to 5's. We haven't seen 9 since march of this year.
here's a summary of comments:
1) Options expiry - hope it's more than that
2) berger bought - big deal for Monday/short term
3) EMA decision - will that make it pop 10% on huge volume?
4) buyout - I can only hope for that.
5) new molecule nomination
6) clinical trial results
I can't do squat at work with all the lack of privacy in my "office" but now I'm wondering if this move has substance???? I hope news Monday morning but I'm not too optimistic now.
that's nothing. they went public with 4MM shares priced at $10. they have $40MM minus fees. They aren't buying out ARIA. Might buy shares but not buying them out.
didn't we spike on that news before only to retreat the next few days??
you don't think that was the news to push it higher? if so, we drop back Monday fast. There wouldn't be 550K in AH's on that news.
yeah, I've been in this since last summer/sept before the huge FDA fall. I don't remember news over the weekend. Only in the morning. I do wish I can watch CNBC at 6am on Monday and see "PFE to buyout ARIA at 25 a share".
