from ABB annual report:
"They can be oil- or dry-type and, although oil-type transformers are more commonly used,
demand for dry-type transformers is growing because they
minimize fire hazards and are well-suited for applications
such as office buildings, windmills, offshore drilling platforms,
marine vessels and large industrial plants."
dry type, that be us.
good info, on to $14-15 in 2014.
the average price to tangible book value for the last 12 years, using the 12/31 price, has been 1.5. With tangible book now at 12, a return to the ave. puts us at $ 18.
hey jeb, use google chrome and click on jinpan china electric toward the right side top of page and google will translate for you.
when you go to jst website click on the china version on the right, they show a lot more good things going on with the company, awards and such than they show on the international version for some reason. Remember 1st two qtrs are usually lumpy with q1 being the worse. I plan to pick up even more shares on any possible weak hand pull back on the q1 announcement in may. remember we are retail owned. at least so far.
thanks, rock, i should have low balled everything like everybody else. I am just now going thru numbers, no real surprise to me so far. AR is high but they are addressing it, it appears to be an industry issue not company specific, they just don't have the leverage to impose better terms i suppose. 15% growth at a 10 PE, I think fair value is $14-15.
Thank you, I am learning, hope u don't mind some other questions. I am always looking to see if a company has a moat, so if what sets them apart is it can orchestrate its own and other vendor switches, is the ability to do this covered by one of there 3 patents or is it more of a trade secret, I realize u might not know but thought I would ask to try and determine how defensible their competitive advantage is, thanks again
~Blue Planet is way ahead of the competition on SDN and NF~
How so? Could you please explain in non-techie layman's terms? Thanks
~because US market is not willing to pay a reasonable price if LIWA wants to raise fund through equity.~
Thank you Mr Zhu, what total BS, the price is what it is because of one reason - you
hey ben, you have a link to sanbian, i couldn't find anything on their site about it. thanks
he should issue a $6. a share dividend or take it private at $6. instead, one of the 2, if the cash is real, anything else he is just blowing smoke and milking it for the pay he and the ms are pulling. Why doesn't she appear on the CC? She is actually running things, isn't she? Maybe CB can tell us.
