thanks for the list. I've had them on ignore for a long, long time. sometimes I read teach and rbtsherman even tho I have them on ignore too. Just too much useless junk from the latter two. The ones you list are alway completely useless
last couple years, wprt really improving technology for ng trucks, increasing fuel efficiency, lowering emissions. these two are key.
wprt cut costs and expenses by a lot. looks like they will be making trucks at a lower cost, if not price, and they will be making a lot more models in a lot more numbers for a lot more time......
sanitation truck (ng) sales up 51%
sale of ng trucks about even for Cummins Westport despite plunge in oil prices.
Looks like 50 million - 100 million added gallons from reading this report, for CLNE
on track. waiting for 2016, not long away in stock trading terms. always trading 6 months ahead, at least. simple, obvious ideas, make batteries en masse for cheaper no-emissions cars and for solar power viability worldwide.
Will this bring down price of LNG in China? Golar is producing in P. New Guinea; US D of Energy wants to go brawls to the walls with LNG exports.
please tell us what this means. thx
Yes, and RNG is the future of nat gas transport. ng transport has to do with cost savings AND lowering emissions.
dude, you know CLNE does not need to own every doggone station. but if these guys open a couple dozen and some other companies open a few dozen, and then all of a sudden you've got a nationwide network so that any company can run their ng truck anywhere anytime. then clne is stacking cash. with their hundreds of stations versus these other folks with their dozens.
The 200 station China Gas build-out funded by IFC and 19 banks is just one piece of the puzzle. Other companies are building out stations too. We just don't know the total. We only know about China Gas because it was reported by IFC World Bank and a Forbes blog.
There will likely be over 1000 stations to come in China, if China Gas is building 200 as part of the IFC deal alone.
How many trucks and parts are going to be sold by Westport WeiChai in response to this war on pollution?
100K? If China is semi-serious about nat gas transport, why not a million? A nation of 1.4 billion with pollution a dozen times worse than any American city. They need to replace how many trucks?
China - Russia nat gas deal means China soon awash in nat gas; they need to do something with it.
you've been long? China Gas contracted with IMW for up to 167 million in supply and service.
I am saying maybe 100 million in added revenues from China initiative for CLNE this year, that's what I meant earlier.
would not be surprised if revenue increase from total effect of Chinese anti-pollution initiative this year will be $100 or more. The contract was for up to 167 million and the build out has been slow; my evidence being the lack of IMW profits. Now they have funding and they HAVE TO build out, as IFC and banks must see progress.

here's the official press
Hong Kong, April 30, 2015—IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has put together a $300 million financing package for China Gas Holdings Ltd. (“China Gas”) to help expand the supply of cheaper and cleaner energy to millions of Chinese households, with the aim of improving their living conditions and reducing respiratory illnesses.
IFC will provide an $86 million loan from its own account and $64 million from the IFC Managed Co-Lending Portfolio Program, a new syndications platform that offers institutional investors the ability to passively participate in IFC’s future senior loan portfolio. The package also includes a $150 million syndicated loan from 19 commercial financial institutions, which was underwritten by The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (“RBS”).
The financing is intended to support China Gas’ expansion of city gas distribution infrastructure and the building of new natural gas refilling stations..........
“IFC’s support provides us with the necessary capital to pursue our expansion plans, including investment in more than 30 new city-gas projects and the construction of 200 natural gas stations every year,” said Liu Ming Hui, Executive Chairman, Managing Director, and President of China Gas. “IFC’s global vision and sector expertise made this multi-party financing package possible.”
i am long, you must be short? we will both hear about this deal at or before earnings. IFC is a major funder, and China Gas has to build the stations now; they have been delaying, it seems for a while, as IMW's sales have not jumped as had been expected. IFC is part of World Bank, and China CCP does not want to alienate World Bank. They need them to continue all sorts of projects worldwide.
IMW Industries, has struck a deal to provide China Gas with up to 416 natural gas compressors and accompanying technologies. China Gas expects to construct up to 310 compressed natural gas stations for public access. The potential value of the three-year agreement is roughly $167 million. IMW has already outfitted 124 stations in China, manufacturing all of the equipment at its facility in Suzhou-Taicang.
