Big step taken today by montise. new partnership w/ mastercard really solidifies their technology platform as one of the big winners in mobile payments $600 billion a year.....
I wouldnt say very, very soon, but i agree that it has more upside risk than down. You're not gonna get much proper debate on this board. There's a couple of dweebs who believe insults will take the place of any actual intelligent arguments. strong growth in their north american operations and with the new focus on developing the right plays while divesting of lesser plays. next 2 qters will also show even better numbers. By next january i'd be comfortable with putting a $18 target.
isn't it funny that ppl who are biased negatively towards yahoo still have to admit that they use the site daily via yahoo!finance. bet they have a email account as well';)
Simply amazing, just think of it. For only 4 billion disney was able to purchase one of the most iconic brands in all the world.
the star wars brand has just received a huge financial boost.
Disney has done some Pretty amazing stuff over the past 60years, and i've no doubt that they'll great things w/ SW. so much content, so many stories they can produce for film. Imagine the bounty hunter series. trilogy in the making. i'd watch
Lucasfilm has spent 30+ years building this creative content. and we can be certain it will be still relevant 30 years from now
I find it amazing how slow the reaction has been investor wise, if Disney is worth 50$ a share without Lucasfilm, It's sure worth a lot more with it. and only for 4billion.. and some of that is not even money, just disney shares.
Anyways just wanted to say, really happy as a life long fan of that far away galaxy, thx.
Bombardier has been acting as a stock these last 3 wks. I don't expect perfection, but the companies Image as a maker of quality financially sustainable aircraft has really come to the for front of the aviation world.
I definitely would like a listing on the NYse to take place,.And an increase in dividend instead of a buyback( i disagree with the too many shares argument, i rather have liquidity).
But most of all I love the Train business! because it is booming. But being not as flashy as the aircraft division, doesn't get the respect it deserves.
so for these reasons i'll look to add to my current position sometime this week if i can get a nice down day. Thx.
no , i just mean if u don't care for the management, just sell and buy something u like. bombardier is nothing special, just another company.
chertsy, if u dont like the stock, just sell it and move on. take the loss. cripes sakes, its just a piece of paper.
..believed Lionsgate film to be worth up to $14 without any expectations on a Blockbuster Hit in 'The Hunger Games'. So i can't agree on the argument that numbers are already baked into the share price.
I own option calls in lionsgate, and have sold part of that position in the run-up pre' HG. I didn't buy them for movie's release, but for the first quarter results which i believe to be the real catalyst to look forward too.
Why short it, cherry.., the puts are cheap, and so much less risk involved. at best i see only a possible 2$ down, but a very possible 5$ to the upside. take care, if it rallies there is already a large short position in the stock that u may get caught in a ugly short squeeze. We are all seeing the weekend box office numbers, and they are quite impressive. take care.
does everyone understand when looking at a companies stock, you look ahead to the future growth.
I hear lots of grumbling about the development of the new planes and i'm confused by it. The price of oil is not coming down..ever. thats just how it is, get used to it. The C series is the most advanced, fuel efficient plane to be built, not boeing or airbus can match it's efficiency. All airlines all over the world have one Huge problem in common and that is the cost of fueling aircraft. The orders for these planes is not in any way decreasing, just the opposite, they're accelerating. And will continue to do so for the next 6 yrs.
Please don't under-estimate the growth in China. The build out of infrastructure is massive. and they are purchasing these planes and they need a lot of them. Also the train business for bombardier is doing remarkably well.
Remember, it's looking forward, not the past that matters.
ya, thats a conclusion that's being drawn a little too quickly. what do ya got? like a months worth of data to go on.
