More than impressive....Disruptive.
Of course it is easier to impress MSFT than the pseudo-expert blathering killjoys who haunt this mb and whose expertise appears limited to sorry attempts at disinformation. And THIS IS THEIR FULL TIME JOB.
Not liquidating yet. Did swap some Nov 2.5 calls for Feb 5 calls......equal dollar. Sounds bearish, eh? Want to be in control of as many shares when the inevitable MSFT announce.
Unless Google or Amazon beats them to it.
Unlike you he has Grade A sources. And so he got another stock wrong...is that suppose to be unique in investing? Are you this dumb naturally or did you require special training?
When this company is eligible for shorting it will be crushed. Sphere3d can do anything Code Rebel can do and is supported in a big way by MSFT and its market cap is way less. Enough said.
I'll check again tomorrow to see if it can be shorted. When that day comes I'm afraid longs will suffer.
Maybe this will shed some light on Corel v MSFT conundrum you seem to be having...Maybe not.
Sphere (ANY) discarded Corel and Word Perfect making the choice to NOT focus on retail consumers and instead ultimately chose to pursue enterprise customers such as Microsoft/Azure, Ericsson, Dell, Pearson, Novarad, ATOS, US Government and now reportedly Google, Amazon and BofA. These companies will sell Glassware etc mainly to other enterprises and not retail customers (as Corel would have). More $$$$$ to ANY.
From the present vantage point I'd say a brilliant choice and allocation of resources. And let's face it whose stamp of approval and partnership would you rather have Corel's or Microsoft's?
All this in a less that $200m company. This disconnect can't last much longer and the large short position orchestrated by Anson Capital is under siege. And the purveyors of insult and disinformation on this blog ramps up their bellowing. Ask yourselves who sponsors them and what do they stand to gain or lose?
And lastly scrutinized the Sphere3D website and ask yourselves is this a scam or disruption. You can be sure that MSFT did some serious DD and scam is not the answer.
Have fun...I am.
As the Cool-aid wears off I'm toning down my expectations.. but not by much.
HOT AIR FROM THE NORTH.....YOU DECIDE
Sphere's IP will launch/catapult Azure and allow it to become the dominant cloud player, and quickly too.
As the story unfolds and the uniqueness of Sphere/MSFT/Azure is recognized it will be unfathomable that MSFT does not attempt to lock up Sphere/Glassware. Glassware will deliver a crippling blow to VMW and Citrix, and will greatly hinder Google, Apple and Amazon.....no small statement I am very aware. And on the hardware side Sphere SnapCloud and SnapServer are going to put a hurt on EMC.
As I do not feel that Sphere management has the endurance to turn this into a $50B colossus, they will be susceptible to a $5B bid in 12-18 months.
Now why should my opinion be given any credibility at all. Here's why. I am one of the largest private shareholders having owned stock since August 2013. I add shares almost daily. And as a large shareholder do you think that I have access to some of the best detailed info??
And I could care less if the stock price is up or down in the month. WS is starting to get it as MSFT did. At the recent NASDAQ investor presentation GS, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley were there and many mutual funds. MSFT has stated publicly that Sphere is their most important cloud partner as they filled in all the gaps in their offering.....all this in a
You may be right. This may indeed be your very last laugh. Mine are just beginning. HAha. Yes I like the sound of that, the feel. HAha........
You can wash the wheels of my Lambo...
They let MSFT examine their tech in great detail. Can you imagine the extent of their DD?
One might surmise that it passed with flying colors and the word is getting out. And Sphere is no one trick pony.
OK lunatics..back on message.
Who knows where the share price ends tomorrow. Agree that the chart looks great and Sphere/MicrosoftTC show and tell x3 and the NASDAQ investor event have been very well received. Very well.
The lunatic fringe posting non stop venom on this board, like Anson, ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE THE LAST LAUGH. And assuredly the last laugh will be hilarious and long lasting.
Squeeze appears to be underway. MDXG interview may have indirectly pulled the trigger. Plus no summer doldrums. Such heartbreak!
And your track record is decidedly better, right? Let's start and end with Orchard Parc. Nose dive over or is the ground looming larger?
Crystal ball says market weakening, summer doldrums and news vacuum....so to me chart indicates that we get down to near $17. Didn't stop me from buying a little today at $18 but lower is the place to get serious about adding. Hold the applause and laughter please.
