    Settlement Conference?

    by johnces1313 Apr 21, 2016 8:20 AM

NOW must be less anxiety provoking than LATER which means $$$$. Maybe they feel vulnerable on the patent front...the ones they don't control...which may be all of them. Opposite of J&J usual stall tactics if I'm reading this right. Feels like a game of clue...fun though. Is DECN inclined to settle and get on with it? Like my licensing scenario but we each and all tend to favor our own scripts.

Pardon if possible my still being at the tea leaf stage.

Lot to be learned here. And now with ctixers we have added a dash of flamboyance and virgin lawyerly perspective.

Afraid your response misses the point by a mile.

DECN's strip competes with J&J. If J&J cares to remain in this lucrative segment they have to smoke the peace pipe i.e. make a deal with DECN. So what does the deal cost...well at 10cents of a $1.25 strip these are the numbers. more or less.So my conclusion is that there is compelling upside. So $1,2,3...etc

If you want to participate you have to buy stock.

Quite thin actually. And painfully honest. Had a good mother.....
And 2.2m shares is a closer estimate.
And do you want to lose an easy $10k. Bet me and we'll place our money with an independent party of your choosing who will decide who gets the checks.
Won't take me up. Then forever be known as a blowh*rd.....but the consolation: $10k richer.
    Ready BLOWH*ARD. Your move.

Am I still a newbie? Been here since last Nov. Own more than 2m shares.

Newbie or drippin' with formalin, when I leave likely you and the serfs will know it. Be like a crop failure.(Maybe an exaggeration).

Another post, more drivel. Brief thankfully.

Await that one in ten, or was I being too flippin" generous.

can't file 10k in the late filing grace period

I'm torn. Usually delisting issues are related to a lack of money but Osiris has plenty and that is a good thing. So let's get the accounting hit over and get on with running the business and in a year all (or most) will be forgiven. Some funds will sell as the stock will be under $5 and some can't/won't hold a stock that is late with financials. Also the legal predators will be circling and issuing pr's dissuading potential new investors. Yes the making of a pariah.

Best might be to sell and by back in a month or more to qualify for the tax loss. This bargain should last for awhile.

Thankfully the shorts will be keeping the price up as they cover.

Reading this one can tell that I'm indeed torn. (And of course I bought another 2k today putting my mouth where my money used to be).

Hard to believe that this happened with Friedli on duty.

  • Forbes

Topic: Non approved uses of regulated drugs etc.

    FDA buckles under 1st Amendment
Ramifications for Osiris for example Grafix and VLUs (venous leg ulcers) etc etc etc.
Also Mesobast and indications for Prochymal.

This is VERY BIG for patients and pharma.

Dividend..who knows but in retrospect sure was a curious decision. Won't attempt to answer your other concerns. Just ask yourself this.....is the company more valuable now than the last time it was (a beaten down) $5 in late 2012 when Sanofi bailed.... when it had the $$$$ sinkhole Prochymial and no Grafix, no Cartiform, no BIO4, no insurance coverage, no new products (for 2016/17 Ozark can recite those), no partnerships with Stryker and Arthrex, no imminent royalties from Mesoblast, no BLA cooking....
BLA, BLA, BLA......not the usual bla, bla, bla that we've grown accustom to.
Soo (for you Randy) get the value picture? Soo with no Prochymal to sell (our anchor at that time) we have unloaded Lode in lieu. Now Lode struck me a a competent/no nonsense guy but his explanation of the accounting dilemma which became a fiasco must not have charmed Friedl....soo it seems.

So here we are again at $5. No new debt or shares to be issued.

Seems a good place to buy.

Private unlikely. Friedli's buddies in NEV would be annoyed I imagine. They probably are already up in arms over the share price so best action is to get the share price up.
The revised accounting is what Wall St is waiting for to start buying again. Most if not all of the selling pressure should be over. Now center stage will be bargain hunters and shorts covering as they have made a nice profit and will fear overstaying their welcome.
And if it falls another $1 I'll buy another 10k.
Good time to announce a 1m share buyback to relight the fire.

Disaster is yesterday's news. Way oversold and beneath lower Bollinger Band. Good products with revenues to increase substantially over next few quarters/years. Substantial cash on hand. House cleaning over or nearly so.
Downside risk $4.50. Upside one helluva lot.

    Bought 11k shares this week.

Ever consider yourself to be the Tooth Fairy?

I have one tooth that could be available Sunday evening. No disillusionments I trust. I'll sleep week on it.

    Thanks Tooth Fairy.

Love the company's products and have been a shareholder on and off for many years. Once owned several hundred thousand shares in the "bad old days." Now hold 100 shares being fortunate to essentially have gotten out near $14. May be the deal of a lifetime at $7 but my courage fails every time that I consider buying. After earnings and accounting becomes clarified I'll be adding then. Seems I'm losing my youthful courage....I've been spanked by being early on multiple occasions. Enough.

Yes a bit tiresome but for the newbie like myself does add some texture but at a price with increasingly diminished returns.

    Nest topic:

If I have this correct KB promised an update in three parts of which two have been received. Anyone have a sense of when to expect part three? Have accumulated a large position and from my evaluation this could be over $1 by year end. Worries me a bit as I don't see much of a down side... if you see the irony.

    CTIXers.

Lucky to have him here. Does possess the gift of unbridled enthusiasm occasionally balanced or overwhelmed by shear panic.

A man of erudition. Enjoy his company...lose the ubiquitous fools.Your life surely will be better for it..

Curious about the reporters present. Do you know what publications they represent? This story has to be told..another David v Goliath. And in the financial world this could provide DECN with exposure, slaying JNJ for the benefit of the common man.....and an investment idea we think has legs.

50th. That's fabulous for you both. Indicative of a life lived well.
ANY: Still own 83k...my new wife has 68k of that total and she still married me. Don't know what to make of the company. The run rate prediction, EK's supposed insider buy, the MSFT dog and pony which so far has led to nada, stealth management and the lack of foresight to raise money when the stock was much higher and the shorts...you may know that Hugo is our friend bonkthegrups...All that and Shaffer and his newsletter...
However the tech is off the charts..unique and necessary. Maybe now they are getting traction but I DON'T TRUST THEM. CONFLICTED with lots of red $$$$$$$$$$$ signs.

In ANY event AVXL could be the biggest biotech story ever and is my largest holding.

And I found a great gal...but 50...only if she has me embalmed first.

Cheers...all of you few that may have missed me. Thanks bill.

Not entirely lily white in the past but I'm going all in on your observation and suggestion. If I long for a food fight between immature adults (often with cleavage) Fox news is always dependable.

Love AVXL.... not intending to place a curse.
