Best would be a big cash dividend then shares in the successor business. Taxes and greed will determine it.

Try Cape Cod...miles of deserted seashore, excellent seafood, etc ...but some traffic on the main roads until Sept. (best month). ORB/OA will work things out but I'm not expecting a home run here. BWTFDIK clam

Launch rescheduled to Sunday at 12:52PM. Here's the announcement:
    "Mission Update – July 11, 2014

Orbital announced this morning that the launch of the Antares rocket for the Orb-2 Commercial Resupply Services mission to the International Space Station for NASA has been rescheduled for Sunday, July 13 at 12:52 p.m. EDT. Over the past several days, Orbital’s launch team has made great progress in preparing the rocket for the Orb-2 mission, which will be the fourth flight of Antares in the past 15 months. However, severe weather in the Wallops area has repeatedly interrupted the team’s normal operational schedule leading up to the launch. As a result, these activities have taken longer than expected.

Orbital has decided to postpone the Orb-2 mission by an additional day in order to maintain normal launch operations processing. With its launch moved to Sunday, Cygnus is now scheduled to arrive at the ISS on Wednesday, July 16 with grapple by the Station’s robotic arm scheduled for approximately 6:37 a.m. EDT. Cygnus is carrying 1,664 kg (3,668 pounds) of supplies for the Station including research investigations, crew provisions, hardware, and science experiments from across the country."

We got skunked on the fishing (stripers, blues, tuna) but the beverages were good and I took some fine pictures of the Charles W. Morgan, as it sailed out of Provincetown. It was the last wooden whaling ship and it was magnificent to see. Imagine the engineering what went into that ship. It could leave port and return a year later loaded with barrels of oil.

Here's a good engineer's book to read on Friday: "KELLY, More Than My Share of It All" by Clarence L. "Kelly" Johnson with Maggie Smith. He designed everything from the Lockheed Electra prop plane to bombers & fighters during WWII right up to the SR71 "Blackbird". He also started & ran the famous Lockheed "Skunkworks" where they completed and tested new designs under deadline and under budget and solving manufacturing issues at the same time. Quite a contrast with the F35 and other mega "makework" boondoggles. I'll be fishing Friday if the weather holds here. clam

I'll be watching. Don't think the Russkies want to stop the flow of cash they are getting for the motors. But high time US made its own motors.
