I agree. The CEO was very clear when they announced the organizational change a few years ago and the buyback strategy. He said something like, "for the foreseeable future we are going to be an NAV growth company." Investors who are staying in or new investors buying in accept that and agree with the approach. Muddying the waters with a penny or two would make me question if management was altering their very reasonable course for no good reason. And god forbid that such a minimum dividend strategy would work and draw income-oriented investors, drive the SP up, and work against the buyback strategy.
People who use "POS" in their postings are almost by definition completely clueless about being a part owner of a business through their stock investments. They're likely also the people who tailgate you and risk everyone's lives on the highway to get somewhere 3 seconds sooner. OK, the last thing was a bit of a generalization; but sometimes it fits.
