Just not enough conviction that they can continue to sell large amount of product going forward. Earnings will give more clarity as it always does. When hedgies or otherwise believe this has a bright future , then it will rise. Lot of concern about subsidies ending that would effect whole industry are probably over blown. But only time will prove that out.
The clock will continue to count down, till lift off. whether market is 100 mill or 1 billion the clock still counts down. 4 months max , how long before interest picks up is anybody guess.
The big news in this article-"We're refitting existing systems away from cheap inverter systems to the high-performance Enphase systems that we trust." . Wow a whole older large market in need of " refitting" .! Where else in the world could this also drive revenue?
With the competition in all generic drugs your thesis expanded from Humira, this company wont make anything on any generic do to competition that will pick it all clean.
If there is any efficiency hypothesis its that markets tend toward best of breed. So can it be a reasonable assumption that in the future Solar City will make the push to micro inverters also? just thinking out loud.

(NYSE: HE) (HEI), whose subsidiaries include Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc., Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc. and Maui Electric Company Limited (collectively referred to as Hawaiian Electric), today announced that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has given its approval to the companies' proposed merger that was announced in December 2014.
Did a easy stabilization make this transaction a better buy?
Thinking the ramp up will be quicker than most believe, especially for commercial projects going forward.SoCore Energy Selects Enphase Energy for Major Commercial Project for Fortune 50 Retailer. And this tie in SoCore Energy, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of Edison International (NYSE: EIX). EIX can bring them in to do a lot of business quick, on other projects the build /own. Add this utility to the list of Hawaii and the upgrade Enphase did to all inverters to help stabilize that grid.
And another delay from the FDA. Wow more hype sooner, than I thought.
No matter a better bottom line, top line sucks. If they grow top line then the bottom line wont be enough. don't care if they ever do better results-people never satisfied and still hate the company.,
Did you notice that the Insider Monkey article called Enphase a semiconductor co. ? Wow . Perception is everything.
K. just saying . Been in this for more than multiple years and have added allways. Seen every CC and read earnings. But still underperform- still burning cash, still waiting on FDA= I will be as tickled as any long if it delivers on potential. Just not hanging my future on it.
that's why they keep selling shares. No value for now. If it was so promising more hedge funds and investors would be buying the share price would rise and the shorts would cover. None of this is happening. The small increase is retail investors gambling. Keep playing the lottery you might win- that in 5 years and have more than this sometime in the future company.
