The pain is over as to HK. If I can stand a drop from 7.50 to 1.50, the continued fall to 0 will be humorous for me. Let's go to 10 cents so I can load the boat.
The only credible person on the show is Rick Santelli, and he stays away from stock picking. Just Fed Policy and Treasury Notes and Bond reasoning.
16 cents for 1/10 of a gallon ethanol, not 45 cents, so 54 cents plus all the fixed costs to get it to our trucks and cars. And the Service stations got to make a dime too.
As for taxes, I think they are fixed at 38 cents until voted on by the state. Mandated Ethanol is flying right now, at 1.60/gal. So there is +-45 cents total. Refiners will get their money, at least 15 cents a gal due to overhead, maybe more Then they have to truck it for at least a nickel/gal: I figured 10 cents. I would say that if Oil is worthless, we still pay a dollar, sort of like water. Crazy
Gasoline will still cost around a buck/Gal. In Texas, taxes are $0.35. Refining cost around $0.20, Transportation of product $0.10. XOM refining profit $0.15/gal, Gas Station profit at 0.10/gal. And also Ethanol at 0.15/gallon, figuring 10% E. Just saying; they could give the Oil away, and we will still pay over a buck.
Will Saudi, XOM, CVX, Venezuela and the other big boys refuse to sell their crude. If oil goes to Zero, gas at the pump will still be a dollar, I figure. Cutting production is the only way out, or if Russia throws a shoe and bombs somebody. They are probably going nuts right about now/ Thinking about buying SD right here for some production cutting worldwide
It's all true. But I don't see HK, SD, and the rest of the Dirty Dozen being given a pass on the facts as stated until Oil hits 25-30 bucks. Then they will be close to pink sheeted. Heck, Floyd and Coop aren't buying in at these levels. Or maybe they are, through some other means
sell at 3 bucks and call it due to 20 buck oil and 1.50 gas
