I have followed this guy and have done real well copying his buy ins. He did it with Lousiana Pacific Lumber co. a few years back when they were down near $9. Bought 1 mil shares and sold out in the $20's a year later. Commodities are cyclycal and patients pays need NO faint a heart, but strong resolve will get you there.
Forget about the spin on the channels, it's nonsense, use your head and logic it will steer you to profits. Oil will suge again, may take time but that allows you to buy great companies and properties on the CHEAP!!
Just DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) Peace to the profiteers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I understand it from reading the Qs' these new companies have solid GMP plants and should increase the ANDAs' overall that are awaiting approvals. This isn't figured into earnings and sales growth as of yet.
Bud my guess is the Opanna is revving up nice. Have a question into the company and awaiting answer. Not seeking anything private but would like to know where it is being sold, which phamacies etc so I can dig further with those directly. My guess is the product is doing great. I have done channel checks with some and they have been consistently out of the product so that is why I want to know where IPXL is marketing and devlivering there Opanna! Fred is the real deal, this guy gets things done where as the old sometimes sat on their hands too long.
Everyone and there sister's uncle knows the cloud is the future, and VMW is about solidify once and for all as the Google of Cloud! Elliot with more controll on the board will push for a decisive split that will happen in next 4 months IMHO. The real benefit for EMC is to reinvent itself with new tech discoveries through innovation that is cutting edge. I understand their research and development teams have it, now complete the split, enjoy the windfall, and psuh technology into the next generation of discovery! It happens lightening quick and the time to ceize the moment is RIGHT now!! They can be proud of their child VMWare now breed a new one whil perfecting their core business. The cash will be enough to start 20 businesses and permit massive buy backs and incentivize the life blood innovators of their company!! Just do it as Nike once said!! ;)
Not sure what the news is but something positive is coming. Recently over $120K was paid for calls straight up on top of some earlier large buys. These were way in the money. Looking forward to the event!! Someone with the resources and research muscle learned of something big coming our way!!!!! Lock and Load ;) Good luck to the patient and smart!!!!
News is starting to trickle in and the big boys have bought ahead of the developments legally. Sometimes it really pays big to stay well informed of all proceedings and developments in the pharma space. Good luck to those with faith the pay off is about to happen big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awaiting the next development for IPXL!!!!
Courac The threshold for Conversion of the latest convertible deal for IPXL at low $63 level is very interesting..
A buyout or big partnership for Rytary is evident. However I stand by my original thoughts that on its own IPXL will follow the path of Activis that grew from $58/share in 3-4 years from Watson to Activis to current $300/share. IPXL will be a $100/share plus stock in 2 years from today if they stay independent. I just feel they are very likely to be aquired soon!
I beleive both companies would go up $8-10 oints beyond the offer as IPXL has a lot in its pipeline, including Rytary a Proprietary approved Pakinson's drug to compliment the BIOSIM of Copaxone MYL is waiting on. Either Mylan or TEVA make a lot of sense to aquire IPXL very SOON!
The field is shrinking and there are a few left with the size and prospects of IPXL. I think a play for them is imminent! I like Bud Fox and your post but feel the mid $60's will get it done!
I believe their accumulation of shares and the act to bid is imminent, they are analysing a price that major holders will endorse. Don't believe discussions have not been ongoing in this regard. I truly believe a bid in the low $90's will appear so attractive that large holders will endorse it! I am sure Koury is nervous about the next step, it will be powerful and well supported. Coming very soon!!
I can see it coming any day now. Everyone knows the depressed oil price will end soon. and India, China and other developing countries are breathing a sigh of relief. However I see this changing rapidly as the market normalizes. Just as it turned from the highs, expect a snap back from the lows!! It is in the cards.
My guess is Either UBS or a interested client was seeking a better buy point. How about the logic of buying as new highs often indicate new and much higher highs because something is RIGHT!! I feel Necuparinib is highly unfollowed and yet targets the worse cancer in terms of survival rates. Then Humira Biosim is progressing and the bank there is enormous for MNTA and Baxter. a lot of positives is why the price doubled. Not to mention MNTA is a huge target of an aquirerer of a large Pharma that has to enter the BIOSIM market. There are many out there, giants, that have not acted yet that would love Necuparinib and an advanced BIOsim team!! I see MNTA as another likely doubler from here. They doubled off a low, that wasn't really brought up by UBS was it?? A near all time low to bring in your focus!! $35-40 is a deal with just two future prospects!!
I am well aware of the deferred revenue recognition issues that gave us all a chance to buy IPXL on the cheap. I imagine you did just that??
Nothing against Larry but I have a feeling he was asked to move aside. As for Rytary it would compliment Teva's Copaxone bus. Or they landed a huge partner to amp up the recognition of this drug Rytary, which stands to reason after the extended delay in launching it. Something big is coming, not sure what it is but it will be very positive! Mark my words, the Options sometimes give you a clue with IPXL like they did for Par Pharma before they went public and recently bought by Endo. Don't coun't endo out of the mix and watch for Generic Oxy approval soon!!!!!!!
There are many moving parts to this approach, I applaud TEVA by staying quiet and adding to their share count in Mylan.
I see the scale tipping back to TEVA as the quiet ressumes and they add to their holdings. Smart way to bolster their stake and perhaps negotiating with large holders that Mylan is unaware of for a realistic takeover price. I see the bid coming very soon!
TEVA closed at $63.25 after hitting $64 today in case anyone was wondering....
HAYWARD, Calif. (September 15, 2008) – IMPAX Laboratories, Inc. sadly reports the recent death of Charles Hsiao, Ph.D., its long-time Chairman. Dr. Hsiao was a co-founder of the Company’s predecessor, Impax Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in 1995, and served as the Company’s Co-Chief Executive Officer from 1999 to 2003. Long regarded as a leader in the generic pharmaceutical industry, in 1986 Dr. Hsiao was one of three co-founders of IVAX Corporation, which, by 1994, when he left the Vice-Chairman position at IVAX, had become the world’s largest generic pharmaceutical company at the time.
Ivax was a cornerstone buy for Teva that helped them to become a giant. Now with Rytary in the market and a lot of huge pending ANDA's Teva may just be the right one to buy Impax! At $4.5 bill that takes us into the low $64/share range. Interesting
Something to ponder.
It is speculation, but I have a hunch it is moving in this direction. Should hear by end of the week.
This company is a shinning star for a larger player seeking to substantiate themselves, them we have the Necuparinib play that is coming along strong!
I wouldn't be surprised to see someone play for a $35/share takeover play. The secondary has given the company a war chest of cash that was well received by Inst buyers as well. Could happen any day now.
