That's the best thing GM has done in a very long time.....kudos to them for finally 'getting it'.

MOS? Son.....the military has more than one branch......

Did you serve? By the tone of your posts.....willing to bet that's a no.

I was a crypto specialist. That's where I got the bug for computers and breaking into things. Eventually got off of that into my business.

You have a lot to learn about respect. You are a smart person, But common sense has left your soul some time ago. Would not hurt to make a u-turn and see where you left it.

My other aliases that I have been accuses of:

    web
    rdh
    samscam?? somthing.
    john

And believe it or not......I have also been accused of being jeyebolt2003.....yes sir. Believe that! That's my favorite one! I think I have that post saved.

  • cobrawolverine@sbcglobal.net cobrawolverine Jun 27, 2014 4:09 PM Flag

Jeye.....We all know it, GM has admitted it. Doesn't matter where it was assembled....engineering and human mistake was the cause of all of this. Some were assembled in the US jeye....so what?

Are you sure you worked for GM?

'Remember if the problem was as bad as the media is making it out NHTSA would have forced a Recall.'

There is a recall. Now. Took years of GM and NHTSA lying to consumers.

Are you really serious? This has got to be a joke jeye. And I fell for it....haha, good one. I know even you are not this naive or stupid.

  • cobrawolverine@sbcglobal.net cobrawolverine Jun 27, 2014 3:30 PM Flag

'Back up on what you say, print some fact.. '

You should be the one printing facts with such a claim like that. Jeye, the ignition problem, which is MOST of GM's recalls, had to do with poor judgement call by a lot of people. Had nothing to do with who put the car together or where it came from. Why am I educating you on this? Shouldn't you already know this?

  • cobrawolverine@sbcglobal.net cobrawolverine Jun 27, 2014 2:35 PM Flag

How many lies can you post jeye......

'Don't forget most of GM recalls are dealing with products
    made in Mexico.'

    Absolutely false jeye.

'I would tax the Imports coming from Mexico like China, Japan and Korea '

In addition to the tax paid now? What do you mean?

Does that mean you would tax GM if building overseas coming to US?

Sir? Funny. I was in the military for many years. I don't call people sir that do not deserve it. So far, about two people on this board I would gladly call sir. Sorry, neither on this post is in consideration.

Stop sucking up, Not like you. I have run 'large' departments of major companies. None of which compare to the work required to run a small business. I have done both. Neither of you have done both. Get back to me when you have experience.

'Listen meat head, I'm pretty sure I ran an organization at least 50X bigger than your "rent-a-coder" business, '

Ran? Kidding me right.....running and owning....oh yea. no difference is there:)...ever hear the phrase "“Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.”
    Right up your alley.

'Furthermore, if you try to ignore my request for additional information, I warn you now that I am not easily deterred. '

Oh my....I like this side of you. Let's go for it. Remember, I don't reply after hours and weekends. So your panties may have to get bunched up here and there, but don't worry, will do my best.

Assume nothing. But I will say this, I do not post after normal business hours or weekends. I have much better things to do with my time. You will never find a post from me on a weekend or after roughly 4:00pm my time. Many here do. Why? They have their own reasons. Mine? I have a life beyond Yahoo.

I wish I could agree with you. But people lost jobs. And plenty more to come.

In a perfect world, this would have never happened. That being said, GM is to blame. People were at fault. People got fired.

I understand you do not own a company, therefore have the luxury of not having to worry about stuff like this.

When GM (the people behind the company) messes up, initial reaction to fire people. Is that correct? Sometimes warranted. Sometimes just a show. Either way, people make up companies, and companies are made up of people. At the end of the day, someone pays.

Pretty sure you have been on the opposite side of this position. Want to try again?
Let's not forget how wrong you were with Volt sales. Or are you still upset I was correct about Volt sales and you were hideously incorrect?

You seem to be a smart person. But misguided when it comes to consumer reality. You just don't build and they will come. it doesn't work that way. Never has, never will.

Apologize as when I get busy, I get busy. And when the message traffic gets long, it's hard to keep up. I apologize for being a very busy man. I don't live for this Yahoo board and it doesn't live for me. Sorry if it consumes you. That being said.....

    'Companies don't lie, individuals lie.'

One thing you need to learn. In today's world, people are companies and companies are people. This you can only understand if you are an exec or own a company. The public does not see a distinction between a company and the people involved. Happens every day. We all know that there are people responsible for GM's disaster, But it's still GM's disaster. Not John Doe, not Mary Jane.....the consumer could really care less. When individuals failed the consumers, GM failed the consumer. There really is no two ways about this from a consumer standpoint or a financial standpoint. People lied, GM paid. I do wish that the law would allow us to hold INDIVIDUALS more responsible, but we are not set up that way.

You know, I may not know everything there is about every position in a company. But I am not naive enough to not believe that this particular issue at GM was not known by MANY top level people. Who knows how far up or down this went. You don't, and I don't. I will be the first to admit I may have assumed who knew, but you cannot know who did or didn't know.

Where most people on this board fail to understand is the consumer point of view when it comes the company, buying etc.....That's my job. Just ask John Kimes when I told him what the Volt says would be as to what he thought it would be. I was spot on. He came from an engineering standpoint, I came from a consumer standpoint. The consumer always wins. 100% of the time.

I will try and keep up with your questions. Be advised, I do answer to many corporations and the government first. I will try and keep you a close second:)

Whatever. Your peeps on the board here report it as as TM or Honda recall for the same item. But when it's a GM recall......no no....it's someone else fault.

GM cars are being recall, so it's a GM recall.

Well said. As a person, as a lady, she should be respected. She has earned it in her job as well.
As a politician, and her current mistakes in her job, she deserves nothing more then a thank you for serving, please go now.
We don't need more Clinton drama in politics. Even they should know when enough is enough. They have become the most corrupt political family of the past few decades. Regardless, people have a hard time separating the person from the job. Happens every day and that's a shame. Although...she did call some unwanted attention to her as of recent.

'Maybe they will fly it into a American Aircraft Carrier.'

If GM is involved...shouldn't be too hard jeye....chances are, the first gen model won't be worth a dam.
