Well to be correct, we cannot build cheap cars in the US due to labor costs. These small cheap cars have to be built overseas.
Someday, it will all be non-union and we will have better cars at better prices.
'You could have EASILY made more return on your investment in GM than ANY other OEM.'
You are an idiot. The information is right ther in front of you, and you even helped prove yourself wrong. That's a sure fire sign of an idiot.
Membership is low. So the leaders need a spike in their salary before the UAW is demolished.
You are saying someone is wrong based on predictions? Does this somehow make sense to you in your world?
'Toyota, whose Camry is headed for a 12th straight year as the best-selling car in the U.S.'
Proud of you jeye, even though it was a cut and paste, I know this took a lot for you to put this down. Finally coming around to what some of us call 'facts'.
GM is getting there, just not there yet. There will be a time when a domestic will have a best selling car, mabye GM, but most likely Ford.
once again. assumptions........makes you look stupid.
And yes you do have an impala, shame on your for admitting that.
No insider info needed. All the information was there for the taking. Yes, I was surprised how high it did go....but at the end of the day jeye...a investor does not dwell too much into the fact that they doubled their investment. It's what you do with that money that makes or breaks you.
Do not confuse sales, your ignorance with the price of the stock. Did sales warrant this stock to blow out it's competitors? Heck no. Should it have? Heck no.
Did it? Yes it did. jeye, I suggest you ask a TM investor who nearly tripled their money if their investment was wrong? See what kind of answers you poll.
The Cobalt will be as collectible as the Lumina or jeyes Malibu.
Anyone who things the Cobalt will be collectible has lost all credibility.
don't pollute teabags with facts......will only confuse her. We all know there was money to be made with TM. Serious money. No, she doesn't care about stock price...geez....then why is she on this board? It's all about share price short term.
End of oil age means start of electricity depletion. We are no where close to having tons of electric cars running on the roads. And quite frankly, may never be,
Price point was going to be the deciding factor. And so far, does not look it's going to be the right price point.
TM stock? You missed out, he didn't.
When was the last time you picked a stock that went from $50 to $120....while someone else kept saying NOT to buy it?
sorry jeye, you on the wrong side of this one. Your racist side cost you money.
He was right about the old GM, while you were wrong.
He was right about TM stock, outperformed GM stock by 125%.
Your track record with stocks is nothing to brag about jeye. Being old does not mean being wise.
GM has a long way before they equal TM's resale value.
There is a reason for this, but we will keep that a secret amongst us. He will figure it out one day.
'Why should the work habits be different between hourly and salary'
I don't know, ask a union member...they seem to work differently that way. Most union people would have a hard time working in the real world. Pay for performance. etc.....
'I've never owned a Japanese, Korea or German Auto.'
Good for you. But you are not doing American any favors by doing this. Think about it genius.
'Common Sense died years ago with Americans and no one went to the Funeral'
Can't argue there. Our politicians making sure it does not come back.
'Common Sense you don't post on the GM message board during working hours'
Common sense also means you never assume what work hours are, especially to the CEO of the company. Use your common sense jeye. Owning a consulting business gives me the flexibility of not having to work 8-5, 9-5 or whatever it is these days.
When I'm posting, I'm not working. Plain and simple.
Jealousy....a nasty trait.
