And you just noticed this? It was infinity for a long time (not listed) so 809 Is almost reasonable. This is a cult stock and PE hasn't mattered much. But China is more of a concern. They are in Seattle to figure out how to do it better in Asia. Amazon market share may be limited.
The street has given this a pass but this is transitioning to old tech and investors will need to see margin expansion sooner than later.
Spitting the shares would be a good idea too.
The stores are not well organized. You have a strange large entry way that is under-utilized then you come in and the registers are all there instead of being away from the entrance (like at whole foods). You enter the produce area which should be more even in a store that emphasizes supplements. Seasonal fruits and veggies are under-represented and the pricing is NOT clearly marked. Also, you can find berries next to lettuces which is OK by me but many people want veg and fruit better separated. I get it though..they have no space but go back to foyer description.
So, into the main store we go (yep, produce doesn't seem to be part of the main space) and on the left several aisles find an abundance of frozen foods and chips. Would be fine but see produce comments. Next we go to the bulk aisle where we find bulked bags in pre-determined quantities instead of self-serve take what you want/need bulk bins. Hugely inconvenient and I suspect the bulk items may be stale because these don't seem to move quickly.
Looking to the back of the store we have a strange cooking demo space (big) that never seems to be used. Maybe sometimes but what about the rest of the time. Wasted space and what's a cooking demo place doing in a store that emphasizes supplements???
Best part though are the supplement aisles and the price and selection cannot be beat. The cosmetics section also seems good.
But then off of the cosmetics/beauty area we have another unused space. Not sure but some kind of activity room....
See what I mean?
The original store in Lakewood (or was it on Leetsdale in Denver) was like this too.
They store concept is great but the design is bad.
Nothing about NGVC is anything close to even GNC....their store personnel know nothing but at any GNC you get personal service around the supplements because GNC is a pure play. VSI and this garbage masquerade as a grocery. They do that part pathetically even worse than TFM and for sure worse than Trader Joe's or any number of organic grocers.
Heck ...Kroger beats them.
Worst Colorado Company since Spicy Pickle Sub Shop and ....look what happened to them.
