wasn't there a gap up yesterday from $20 or less? I have been observing lately that rather than chase any stock let it come down to the gap needing to be filled. ??
from one who was in the market in crash of 2000? or thereabouts - my biotechs crashed badly and I was on margin so double whammie. so don't be on margin. i had a bad feeling before the crash and wanted to sell but back then I had a broker who discouraged me from selling and so I sold very little. now I know it is there job to keep you in.
you seem to be right that RF going up faster than HBAN. why is that?
we did go up for a bit. as I watch ticker tape I see a lot of biotechs pulling back - SGMO down from days high, ACAD, etc..
just read article about internet banking which mentions BAC, HBAN, COF,JPM as winners in that area but no mention of RF. if they are not doing more in mobile banking how will they do long run? I must admit I never invested in BOFI and today see it over $100. wow
same investors like RNN. have you looked at this one.? recently only 50cents and now $1.46. no news except for new board member, Mark P. Carthy.
if your flips/trades done in 401k/IRA or Roth you do not have to report trades/gains. but also don't get to take losses. think on it.
why stayed away INO? I respect Begley also and he bought in. what do you see as reason not ?
read Begley post that Frazz doesn't like INO which he does. what do you see against INO? I respect your opinions.
This complacency is reminding me a lot of a previous crash when I saw my spec biotechs drop like rocks. a young friend mentioned PLUG to me and I looked it up way back and I remembered it. oh yeah, this was $1k back in the day. stocks w/o earnings will get hit big time. if a crash is forthcoming. imo.
INTC was my first stock back in 1995 or so? bought because they seemed to be inside every computer - the notes ring in your head? "intel inside?" doubled my money in 6 months and so was in love with stocks after that. later came the big correction and I was on margin big time with many spec biotechs which crashed big time. no longer play on margin. also learned to trade in 401k rather than regular acct so don't have to report gains but then you don't get to report losses either. live and learn, hey?
