This topic is just going to get more news as the summer months heat up. CEMI is tagged in these articles. It is nice to get a little attention.
Thermacell is not a public company? Would love to buy a stock of a company like that! Any ideas?
Now they like CDE and rate it a #2 buy. Says it has things going good even if the price of PM's doesn't rise.
They are a little late to the party, but it is nice to have good press.
They now have FDA approval to do just about any problem area on the body. No excuse to have anything but a perfect body!
If I read this right, and CDE produces 60,000ozs a year after September, the difference is +$400/oz times 60,000 or $24M? With no additional expenses, in fact, mining higher grades? This is big.
I am glad this quarter was only OK and hampered by weather, and transitions to higher grades. My expectations are that the reports will get better in every quarter this year. Higher grades, lower casts and less to Franco. An the balance sheet is looking better. Krebs has done a good job.
The silver stream from the Endevor mine is reduced because the mine operator reduced operations due to the low price of Zinc and Lead. This is confirmation total industry production of Silver is probably going down because about 50% of it is a byproduct of mining for other base metals. It is happening and this is an example. A good sign for companies that primarily mine for gold and silver.
I think this will take off once they announce a test for zika, they don't even need to have any sales lined up.
Chart, on your recommendation I bought a thermacell. will try it out at the lakehouse in Western NY. Most other ideas have not worked well.
There are very few people that understand what this company could be. Read several of the Seeking Alpha articles. The locking systems for the new JLTV are going to produce big long term profits.
I think your forecasts are low. This company restructured out a lot of costs. Look at the gross margin and assume that is the same for an additional 8 million in sales for the quarter. Also, I would be disappointed if the margins on the newer products weren't a lot higher than the older stuff. Plenty of time to buy more.
I don't think we will get a big firm following this, only what about 9M shares outstanding. Maybe some of the smaller brokers.
They now have continuing OEM business and impressive AOI business which should be taking business from competition, not just replacing theirs. Also, new products usually produce much higher margins.
Between now and earnings all we know is that revenues spiked. Did margins spike too. Because of the OEM business and the MX shipments, were expenses low? We don't know, but the "what if" allows people to model earnings anyway they want. Imagine if all was really positive, this could be a really good long term holding.
Once we know more details, you can come up with a reasonable valuation, but not now. People don't want to miss out, so this may be the time to get in.
