Better run company better share price more profit for share holders and founders. Not too hard to figure out but then again these are the Gordon's sloooooow learners
Over the last 6 years what one positive thing stands out with the performance of JVA? What one thing has Gordon's done to build value for investors? I know I came up with the same answer (0). I couldn't think of anything either!
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Gordon's only own a minority stake, they can't take it private. But they had better be careful if someone comes in and and offers 6-8 they will be bought in a heart beat with no say. If you don't keep investors happy they will turn on you! And here we are!
What is going on?
Investors have been placed in the dark the last 6 years all while Gordon's have whittled away market share. This isn't a privately held company yet it is being treated as such. I recommend voicing your concern!
The last 6 years you've done zip and even did away with dividen! Time to earn your keep or relinquish Presient / CEO to someone who actually knows how to build investor value.
8-) March is coming....
Hedge fund is anticipating a run up in near future as well. Where did they get their information to increase share count? Especially with the lack of news there really is only one explanation.
Were shares purchased to invest or to be used as manipulation? With the volume of shares that has been purchased share price has only melted away. The Simplest answers are generally the most accurate.
Do you know how JVA got their foot in the door with WMT? GMCR relationship is how. Interesting. Good Day
All good points: Go back to 2013 when JVA announced they were going to discontinue the divi to refocus on branding. JVA knew what they were doing back then, they just needed to fast track the plan.
1st Phase : JVA expands into Tea as well as expanding network / territory.
2nd Phase: JVA discontinued hedging so prospective buyers could get accurate value.
3rd Phase: JVA needed to show they could lock in Large customers
4th Phase: Hire Loilois to get the word out that JVA was looking to be acquired.
5th Phase: As you stated Loilois released because sale will be done within inner circle.
6th Phase: Patience and don't listen to short's.
Focus on the month of March. You'll have your answer on whether it was smart to hold or sell. Good Day
There are more parts going on right now then you can even imagine...
If the GMCR news was truly perceived to be bad would we have only traded minimal shares the last 2 days? Really?
You need to think outside the box and not let some clueless short try to shake your shares. You will regret it.
You hit the nail on the head. Short interest is down significantly. Hard core basher is just simply yelling into the wind. He can't even claim the sky is falling because the short interest doesn't reflect it! Just another huge tell.
Obvious investors like myself didn't give him the platform he desired by the price action of the shares yesterday. yet another huge tell.
Be patient there is more to the underlining story for the serious investors. Good Day
GMCR needed 3 locations for importing coffee and housing in Seattle, Virginia and New Jersey. Things are not what they appear on the surface. Don't jump to conclusions. This process was a costly endeavor that also is potentially power play.
