Even Einhorn knows you go against GMCR, KO will crush him like a bug. Why isn't Einhorn, Tillson, Ackman,Soros, Ichan shorting. Risk out weighs reward. KO put moat around GMCR you mess with GMCR you mess with KO big money gets trumped by ridiculous Money. It's the way it is and always will be. KO did homework before investment obviously they have a better handle than you!
It will not cost me 65% of initial investment. Maybe you should have Seth explain it, I here he will be serving lemonade after the presentation.
You'll be long and strong right up until the day they place it in the Smithsonian! I can hear the comments now. We always knew you would be coming but we didn't think it would be this quick, but then your fearless leader spoke and your so called analyst who doesn't own shares spoke. You'll be seated next to George. Good Day!
And yet you still hold onto your SODA after 4 years of negitive results. At what point do you cut losses? I mean you know what the offering was. What is the rate of return for last 4 yrs.? You can't defend a company with that kind of return. We call that hopium....
Charts don't lie. Your soda stream lost it's fizz just after your fearless leader decided to play Russian roulette with KO/ PEP. Only difference is your leader loaded the six shooter with 6 bullets and went 1st.
Can't fix stupid, you should join SODA's mgmt. I'm sure that will only project them faster to the Smithsonian. I hear George Foreman makes a real mean burger.
Yet year after year stock loses share value and that's progress? I expect to see Soda stream in the Smithsonian serving Tang any time now! Maybe you can prop up the price with some of those banks you own. You probably fave board walk and park place and maybe even a rail road or two.
Fluctuations in coffee buying is out long periods of time and JVA has been caught behind the trade multiple times hedging the bets in wrong direction. Investors have felt those effects from 2012 -2015. This was a good move for mgmt. to get away from.
By my money spent you mean over and above the 180% i made over the last 4 years.
How about Soda I don't see where the money they spent helped investors ? What would you say for every dollar the investors put in they gave up .65 cents. Ya that's about right. Ya that's a stance you should take...
And the Charts don't LIE. But you can't refute that. End of story...
If you can't pull in the big players you are essentially locked out. Big players and consumers control the market. You claimed at one point that GMCR needed the CO2 , how'd that work out.
The fact that SODA's president can't let his ego go, well that is investors of SODA problem.
You don't need to be an analyst to see consumer trends, and what large players are aligning with. SODA had to beg PEP to look at product and it appears at least for now not to be doing so well.
Truth of the matter is SODA could have prevented this whole debacle by not exploiting PEP/ KO weakness. But business is business.
You mean like your pumping of SODA. Maybe you should put 5 yr. chart side by side of SODA / GMCR. You said soda was the pick I said GMCR. Charts don't lie.. Consumers made the choice, you claim Keurig overpriced and no chance. Charts don't lie
Sentiment: Strong Buy
And now Seth claims to be out of SODA for ethical reasons ( It's Tanking).
1st obstacle GMCR was patents running out coffee pods too expensive and Fraud ( All 3 proven to not be a factor)
2nd Keurig Kold too high a price for appliance and pods too expensive ( Really are we going to go through this again) This will all prove to just be a bump in the road.
Seth can take his CO2 canisters and stick it where the sun don't shine. He recruited many of the longs to SODA with his great research. Which has paid off handsomely for Seth not so much for investors....
Story on ending the dividend was to expand business internationally which Coffee Holding is doing. I have talked with JVA about whether they see the dividend coming back in the foreseeable future. They do not.
My take on this is that Coffee Holding is using the assets to build value for the company and share holders the most prudent way possible. Expansion of contracts / Hiring of PR firm / Beating earnings /creating track record. This is how value is unlocked. Reduction of Hedging on coffee is a good thing, maintaining contracts with GMCR is a great thing. Solid company just needs some exposure to Tutes.
Value yes I'd say the 37.00 per share I paid in 2011 with the 90+ dollar range was great value play. How about soda stream how's that 70 dollar stock now oh wait it's 21 and change. I'll take my value any day.
Can't wait for soda to unleash the Tier (1) companies and display their R&D team. Oh wait, Soda doesn't have any signed contracts with Tier (1) companies and innovation well that's just any empty warehouse where the unwanted soda machines can collect.
I do hear the Smithsonian is still looking for one to serve TANG.
