by lws2000 •Jun 17, 2013 9:57 PMThe GOP will not disappear, but will be changed into a non-Southern, non-regional, center-right party. Graham and Chistie are prepared to join Hagel and Bloomberg in forming a strong, competitive party. The far right will go in another direction.

CRUZ (Texas) and LEE (UTAH) are the new Targets, Both are extreme right (like those infamous men of the 1930's from Germany and Italy). They have a "bulls-eye", for all to hear, in their extreme right rhetoric, and dangerous "golden tongues". Texas is beginning to look a bit purple around Austin. That color is spreading across the state.

Chamber's is the comeback kid. Cisco is in the cat-bird's-seat to lift the the USA to new highs in a new tech revolution. The PE is too low by 30%, IMO.

The GOP Tea-Party is now "TEXAS-CENTRIC". It is led by Ted Cruz, who is as extreme right as one can get. The traditional GOP is in big trouble. Bob Dole made the "call for help" this morning.

I think the comparision, some how, is between Hillary and Mother Nature. Mother Nature has created a wonderful, beautiful earth, and a universe that we know very little about. The question is, in my mind, can we blame the tragedy in Oklahoma City on Mother Nature, or are there other evil forces at work (for some that would be the devil and his evil forces). There are evil forces that Hillary cannot control. Most evil forces are male, not female.

by sidesaddlex •May 17, 2013 10:55 PMIf you don't think that Romney lost the election, that his statememts about Benghazi were major contributing factors, and that elections are won in the CENTER, then you are truly "DELUSIONAL". Virginia, Florida, and North Carolina became "purple states" in 2012. Their extreme right days are over, as demographics change, and women get more political power.

CIA policy and secrets were in control. They, by their internal workings, made sure that the early explanations were cloudy and not specific. In addition, Stevens was offered and refused military aid twice. That was a sad and tragic choice.

Hologic Inc. (HOLX) reported adjusted earnings per share of 35 cents in the second quarter of fiscal 2013, higher than the year-ago earnings of 33 cents as well as the company’s expectations of 33−34 cents for the reported quarter. The result also beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by a penny.
On a reported basis, net loss in the second quarter was $51.1 million or 19 cents per share, worse than the net loss of $40.3 million or 15 cents per share in the prior-year quarter.
Revenues were $612.7 million in the quarter, up 30% year over year. Despite solid growth, the top line was significantly below the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $644 million and company’s guidance range of $635−$640 million. Revenues exclude the $6.4 million of contingent revenue received under a collaboration agreement of Gen-Probe with Novartis. Hologic completed the acquisition of Gen-Probe on Aug 1, 2012. Revenue growth was led by inclusion of Gen-Probe revenues, higher sales of MyoSure and tomosynthesis systems and wider installed base of digital mammography systems. -
