In April on the NNN site you mentioned the lunatics that were on the O site that outshine the Donkey--slow news day today so I checked out this message board. You were right-totally useless info but individuals that are comical as they express comments that nobody believes--can't say that I will return but it was entertaining to read their comments ( hard to believe that some individuals here are actually adults? )

The institutional and mutual funds are the one's buying as they have increased their positions to 43% ownership. I would expect that percent to increase in the next few months.

HCT being bought buy Ventas 2.6 Billion

Chip-- I was surprised that Ventas bought ARC and not HTA but in the mean time HCN has just raised 1 billion dollars from a common stock offering and would be in position to purchase HTA. If this is the case you will see a slow rise in HTA stock based on rumors and possible leaks. It should be in the $13.50 to $14 range then an offer of around $16 which is about 15% above base price. Most of the deals these REITS make are about 15% above base price. At this time I think HCN is the leading player since MOB"S would be a nice fit for them and they have a good amount of cash. By the way I own both VTR and HCN and follow them on a daily basis.

Topics-I'm wondering how and why we bought senior housing in England? Almost seems like a tax deal similar to Pfizer and Astra Zeneca?
With 87% of revenue coming from private pay I wonder why we respond like all the other REITS to interesr rates or government regulations?
With cash on hand I think we are in the mood to buy-my guess is in the direction of medical office buildings--namely HTA
Some of you out there might have some insight or an opinion to share with this board on the above topics

I bought this stock many years ago for the dividend-- it has performed very well with constant dividend increases- I was wondering if there are investors out there who have bought simply for capital growth and the dividend is secondary.-

No chatter on this stock if it moves up or down-good earnings or not. Other Healthcare REITS messege boards are much more active--not saying that a lack of activity is bad but I would think with the number of investors in this stock that there would be a comment every now or then. I guess constant dividends can put an investor to sleep!

On Jan. 2 this stock was $28.70-- I think at times we see a dip in the stock because of sell orders of profit takers-- just a guess on my part.
